I am beginning to believe DWTS keeps who they want to regardless of votes...Cloris staying again!!! No way.
They didn't vote anyone off tonight because of Misty leaving because of an injury, BUT Rocco was the one who would have been leaving...NOT Cloris. What do ya'll think.

I thought they said Maks and Misty danced I must have been wrong unless it was an old repeat.
I don't think the show was worth turning on tonight.

I can understand having an "older" celebrity on the show... sort of. But 82-year-old Cloris? Sheesh - it wasn't that long ago that everyone made a big deal about how Jayne Seymour was the oldest celeb they'd ever had on, and she was only 56 at the time! Susan Lucci is 62 -- that certainly should be old enough to be the oldest on the show. There is simply no way anyone, no matter who they are, is going to win that show at the age of 82. It's just not fair to the others to have her on -- not when viewer votes count; because there are enough idiots who will continue to vote for her to keep her on as a joke, to see how far she can get.

I think DWTS has jumped the shark.

I have seen 82 yr old ladies doing ballroom dancing very well when I took it but Cloris is acting more like a clown than a dancer .

Maks danced the dance they were supposed to do with one of the other professionals (Edyta, I think?). It was a great dance as presented, but truthfully? Looked a bit ambitious for Misty--I have a feeling it came across better with the 2 pro's doing it, than it would have with Misty.

As to the voting? A chef is an unknown--he goes to a competition like that with NO fan base. No one who's watched him race, or enjoyed his movies/TV shows, or really ever seen him. Of course someone like Chloris, who has had a long, successful career is going to have people voting for her just because they've always liked her in the past--while Rocco has to win each and every phone call he gets purely with his dancing. I agree with CarrieAnn that he's definitely the most improved and I don't think he deserves to go home yet, but I can see where he'd have a hard time getting the votes to continue very long. Look, I'm not saying any of that is necessarily fair--but it's certainly understandable.

I have been a fan of the show since it first began but in the last couple of years I think they are messing with something that really didn't need to be fixed.
The shows original format was great, it wasn't nasty back stabbing it was people trying something "new" in their life and doing it the best they could. It seemed everyone loved the challenge and the public as a whole welcomed the whole concept. It was getting people off the couches and moving. It was a show all ages could watch and enjoy. I don't feel that is the case any longer. I used to watch all the dancers do "a dance" and then wait a week to see the results. As the couples reduced they would do two dances. Now it drags on and on the the dancing is less and less...more about the drama and the "guests".
Having more mature dancers or surprising contestants is fine as long as they are there to try and not insult the audience. Everyone enjoys a little chuckle..but the last few years they have really gone over the edge.
I really don't enjoy watching it very much anymore.

I agree that it is getting to be a drag to watch. I tape it now and fast-forward to the dancing.

Still seems unfair to me that Rocco is struggling so much. We know him well in the NYC area, but that won't be enough to carry him through a bit longer to see how good he can get.

Wish that Cloris would get the heave-ho; seems like a gift to her at this point. She has to be exhausted!!

If Rocco goes next week and Cloris stays, I won't watch anymore.
