We had leftover soups from yesterday. He had chili soup and I finished up the potato soup. I had lemon bread and he had apple dumplings. I had iced tea also. Then Izzi and I went for a long big rig ride out and about. Won't be too many more days probably we can do that with winter coming on.

Sue, don't you love days the frig gets cleaned out? I just hate to throw food away, but I'm afraid I do. Even with my Food Saver.

Our sausage dinner was very good. I think I'll make subs out of the leftovers. I used mild Italian sausage instead of the hot the recipe called for and I think the hot would be better.

Fish, peas with pearl onions, pasta and vegetables, and tea. It's still too hot to do much cooking!

Teriyaki pork roast, peas & mushrooms, green beans, and fresh peach slices.

Whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce and turkey meatballs. I went in to work at 4p.m. so the sauce is on the stove ready for DH when he gets home. I take a sandwich with me :(

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff, rice and crusty bread. I always use round steak cut very thinly and it after cooking for 7 hours, it's fork tender and delicious.

We went to a dinner show last night at Katie Belles of The Villages. Great show, and I had a Pasta dish. Was ok, not special. Gonna cook at home tonight, better figure out what, lol.

We had errands to run so we grabbed dinner at a little diner. I had baked fish, Andy had liver and onions. Tonight won't be any better, we have doctor appointments and then have to run Baby Baby (kitten) to the vet for her surgery tomorrow (spay).

We did enjoy it Lynn d. It smelled as good as it looked! All those flavors blended so well. We'll use the leftovers for subs.

Eileen, I copied a recipe for crockpot beef strognaoff in the crockpot before I lost everything in my computer. Still don't have it back (the tech got married Saturday and is on his honeymoon this week.

Mamatoad, we're having fish tonight. Haven't decided what else yet, but those peas sure sound good.

Kathleen, that teriyaki pork roast sounds so good. I don't know when you have time to eat, much less cook!!
