Today was grocery shopping day for me with Amber and Alyssa. Lunch was really breakfast at Bob Evan's as we had a coupon, buy one get one. Mine was really good. I got my usual two scrambled eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, two pieces of french toast, hash browns and unsweetened iced tea to drink and one to go. So of course I will not be eating a thing tonight.

I picked up a deli pizza from the grocery store. It had ham, pineapple and onions on it. I always add more goodies to the store pizzas, even the loaded ones.

I added more onions, peppers, broccoli, some leftover chicken breast, more sauce and shredded cheese. It was pretty darned good!

Tonights clam fritters, and whatever quick side I decide to put with them, baked beans (canned), or brown rice (frozen). Yogurt and some california strawberries I picked up today.

Patti, enjoy your sister. I see mine about 6-8 times a year, she's just 2 hours away and we talk a couple of times a month. I love her to death..... and at the same time, she exhausts me when here - she never stops talking. And surely doesn't even know she does it, but if she's awake, she's talking :)

I think I'm going to join patti43's 'family'.

In fact, I could eat at anybodies house tonight...they all sound very good.

I was gone all afternoon. Too tired to do much when I got home so I had ham, eggs, toast, and decaf coffee.

Lightly breaded mahi mahi (fried), my yummy cole slaw (don't we all like our own recipes best), and twice baked potatoes. Not a particularly healthy dinner, but it sure was good.

I use flour, corn meal, and panko for the breading....after a soak in a buttermilk and egg bath. I used Old Bay Blackened seafood seasoning.
