OH My...I really HATE that the Amazing Race has come to an end...I will miss it, but WHAT A GREAT ENDING! TK & Rachel won in a very close and exciting race to the finish mat. I thought the challenges were good ones. Too bad that the Grandson messed up the reading of the clue at the sports store. Having to go back for the bag of supplies they forgot really messed them up. It seemes like they could have been in second place at that point, ahead of TK & Rachel, if they had not made that rather huge error. Fish guts, yuck, but it seemed that both teams found the little clue inside the fish cavity very quickly. TK & Rachel found the crab with the clue band just in the nick of time...before giving up and going back to the fish gut. Climbing the ice wall was OK. The Father and Grandfather did it well. TK & Rachel both did well but, both the Grandson and Christine had a hard time with it. Then the beautiful hellicopter ride across Alaska...what a thrill for all of them. Even at this point all three teams were close. It was the final challenge that they had to figure out that was the killer. I was so confused by it. I did not pay attention to the directions so I had no idea what they were trying to accomplish. I thought Christine would make short work of it, but she got bogged down. Rachel stayed calm and was able to figure it out first. TK & Rachel were on CBS Early Show this morning. They were cute and just like they had been all during the Race. They won a MILLION DOLLARS! They did not show any other teams. This was a good race. This was the first one I remember that all the teams were likable...except for Jen & Matt. I remember that I did not like the first couple that was eliminated...they were mean to their donkeys. and that one girl who was soooo annoying while trying to get the camel milk...but other than that, everyone else was just fine. Or, am I forgetting someone. Oops...I forgot about the Blonds. They were not very nice. It's all over...till the next one starts... sooey who will be knitting next Sunday night...

I thought Victor was the most passive/aggresive jerk I've seen in a long time! That's what I thought. lol Geez! If he thinks he's so perfect, then yesterday's hike up the mountain for no reason should have been a real eye-opener for him. The gymnastics roadblock? Oy. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that! I remember being on a balance beam before and I hated it. Ladies- we all need to work on our upper-body strength, starting now! That was embarrassing to watch, especially because I knew I would look just as lame-o! lol LOVED the vampire challenge, Woody and I looked at each and shouted VAMPIRE when the tasks were offered! lol OK, so we're just big kids. I play with dolls and he loves blood and guts. And we both liked watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. lol When in Transylvania, do what the Transylvanians would do! Phooey on the gypsys! Why did they want to keep a car carcass? That made no sense to me. It was fun to watch, though. Lots of little funny moments. And I still want to smack Victor, the Perfect. He needs to listen to his sister more. She's no dummy.

I distinctly heard Kynt and Vxysin ask the driver if he could take them, and he said "yes." But I don't know if the other "passenger" hopped in after the driver said he'd take K&V, or if he was already in there. I'm honestly surprised that the team that went home lasted this long. The team member who did the Road Block was so totally clueless and that's not the first time this person has been like that. I'll miss the entertainment value that is provided by that team...

According to Zap2It, Amazing Race is on tonight. I don't know which week it is. BTW, there's a football game on so it might not start at its regular time. Shirley
