Don't take this the wrong way, but I do think you are being too picky and anal retentive about the Suzuki. Starting on three pulls is fine by me, and I have owned more than a dozen Suzuki's, including about half which were Commercial Prolines such as the 22040 and 22043. Yours is an early Consumer model and probably only has a choke. Later models also had a primer button because the Mikuni carb often wouldn't flow enough fuel when cold. However, if you're starting with three pulls, you got no complaints. Also, You are not doing your engine any favors by running 32:1. Toro and Suzuki have recommended 50:1 since day one (mid 1980's) and oils were not as good 30 years ago. They also approved TCW-3 oils. Before you or other readers go nuts about the TCW-3 recommendation, keep in mind that this is a relatively low revving 2 stroke. It's governed at 3600 rpm and has a max speed of 3900 or 4000 rpm. This is not a high end string trimmer turning 10,000 rpm or a chain saw doing 12,000 rpm. Suzuki knew what they were doing. Lastly, I disagree with the previous poster about premium fuel. Usually I find him well informed and on point, but not in this case. Premium doesn't run "hotter" or "cooler", just has less tendency to knock and preignite, Main potential advantage to premium is that it is sometimes available without the 10% ethanol. And ethanol is bad news for the rubbers and elastomers in the carburator. Ethanol is also hygroscopic (attracts water) and the resulting moisture will attack aluminum and zamak carburetor parts. If the premium has ethanol, it's then no better or worse than regular gasoline. My recommendation would be to run ethanol free gas where possible, stay with recommended 50:1 oil premix, and use a high quality oil. A synthetic is great, but really not needed. As for Marvel oil. It won't hurt anything, but I'm not as sold on it as some people. If you start having a lot of trouble starting (8 to 10 pulls), then it may be time to look at the crankshaft seals. These are relatively cheap ($7 to $10) each, but a major job to fully disassemble and replace. BTW, if you want the Toro/Suzuki manual (492-0260), send me an email, and I'll bounce back with a PDF.

" Is this something we should be looking into?" You should definitely be at least looking at it. Fixed rate mortgages are also very good deals right now. As for whether you should go with a variable rate or fixed rate, that should (mostly) be a numbers driven decision. The risk in a variable rate loan is that rates will go up. The gain is that you will pay lower interest for the next 3/5/7 years. If you think it is going to take 20 more years to pay off your house, then the risk is substantial. On the flip side, if you can use the monthly savings from a lower monthly payment to rapidly pay down your mortgage, then you cut that risk down to almost nothing. That is the key though - saving or paying down the mortgage. One warning - if you are planning to refinance to free up money to pay tuition, then definitely stay with a fixed rate mortgage. You don't want to be hit with a higher mortgage payment right as your 3rd starts college.

MARSHMALLOW PIE (Just Everyday Me) Crust: 10 chocolate graham crackers (5in by 2.5 in each) 1/2 cup sweetened coconut flakes, toasted 5-6 tablespoons butter, melted Filling: 34 large marshmallows 1/2 cup milk (I used 2%) 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, grated Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips for garnish (optional) Preheat oven to 375. Prepare chocolate coconut crust: Break graham crackers into crumbs, either by using a food processor or by placing them in a large plastic bag and beating them with a mallet (I prefer the second method) Toast the coconut either by placing the coconut on a cookie sheet and putting it in your oven on broil (be careful because it will burn quickly!) or by putting it in a skillet on medium heat and using a spatula to toss it around until golden brown. In a 9-inch pie plate, mix coconut and graham cracker crumbs together. Add the melted butter and use hands to press mixture on the bottom and sides of the pie plate. Bake the crust for 10 minutes. While crust is cooling, prepare the marshmallow filling. In a large saucepan or skillet, heat marshmallows and milk over low heat until melted and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove saucepan from heat and cool the mixture completely, about 30 minutes. When the marshmallow mixture and graham cracker crust is cool, beat the cream in a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed until stiff peaks form. Stir the marshmallow mixture, making sure it is still smooth and doesn�t have lumps. Fold the mixture into the whipped cream. Fold in the grated chocolate. Pour the filling into the cooled crust. Refrigerate pie at least 3 hours, or overnight.

Another slow cooker recipe! SLOW COOKER SALISBURY STEAK 2 pounds ground beef 2 TBS dried onion 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup flour 1 cup panko bread crumbs 6 ounces sliced mushrooms 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup flour 2 cups beef stock In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, the dried onion and milk. Form into 8 patties. Dredge each patty in the flour, then coat with bread crumbs. Stack in your slow cooker, alternating so they are not right on top of each other. Dump the raw mushrooms over the patties. In a sauce pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk for a few minutes until the mixture turns a light brown. Slowly add the beef broth 1/2 cup at a time, whisking well after each addition. Continue to cook over medium heat until thick. Pour over the mushrooms and patties. Cook on low 4 hours. REAL food alert: check your beef stock for msg and autolyzed yeast extract. ALLERGY alert: if you are allergic to dairy, gluten or wheat, skip making the roux with butter and flour, instead pour the beef stock into the pan and bring to a boil. Mix 3 TBS corn starch with 3 TBS cold water. Add to boiling stock and whisk until thick. Follow the recipe as directed. Also, substitute bread crumbs for a gluten-free bread crumb.
