I like Fujis, and I think the organics taste better than the regular. I eat them plain or with cheese or peanut butter.

My absolute favorite apple is Winesap, but I must travel about 60 miles to get them, so I don't get them very often. After that, the Golden Delicious is my next favorite. And my favorite way to eat them is with gooey Brie.

My favorite apple is honeycrisp which are usually expensive, so I usually get Braeburn apples. I like them with peanut butter (but only a few slices, as apples raise my blood sugar).

I like all apples. Honeycrisp is my least favorite.

I like a apple that is not tart and not too sweet. Sometimes I will eat cashews with apple slices. Tastes kind of like a caramel apple.

I love apples. Used to spend an entire day with "apple" curriculum on Johnny Appleseed Day each year when I taught kindergarten. Most kids only new about Granny Smith and McIntosh apples. I would try to get as many varities as possible. I think the most I had was 15 one year. That's when I learned all about the different flavors of apples. I love Fujis, Galas, Pink Lady, Honeycrisp, and Ambrosias. I think Fujis and Ambrosias are my all time favs.

We eat fruit of some sort for desert each night so I mix apples with other fruits, in salads, and I love to put peanut butter on top of a slice of apple.

If I'm forced to buy them in the store (like 2009 and 2010, when late freezes killed off the crop) I usually choose Empire (a cross between Red Delicious--which I would never buy--and McIntosh) or Fuji. At home, the Kings are my favorite.

I love apples with nuts, especially walnuts. Or just straight. :-)

I like cheese with mine

Absolute favorite apple is the small Red Delicious that come in red net bags around here. Perfect size, taste and crunchiness factor.

Other than the occasional slice of hard cheese, I eat my apples al la carte.

I like Fuji or Gala apples with melty Brie cheese and pears and grapes. Yum!

I love a nice crisp McIntosh...just plain apple. And now I have a hunger for one but don't have one in the house.

Honeycrisp is my fav. I eat it plain as the flavor is so good. I had never had honeycrisp until I moved to Iowa.

My favourite is Pink Lady, sliced up on a couple of pieces of bread and butter...I love apple sandwiches!

I love organic gala apples all by themselves. Also love mcintosh apples with a sprinkling of salt.

I like Jonathans, they are a bit tart instead of sweet. I like them with salt and did try one slice dipped in PN Butter, not bad.

Pie crust.

I like Ambrosias and Jonagold and another one that was my all time fave that walmart got for a while and never saw them again anywhere but can not remember the name for the life of me. I like a sweet crisp apple. I like cheese and also peanut butter with them or just plain, I also like the chocolate and caramel dipping sauce for fruit.

My favorite is Stayman but they are getting hard to find. There are 2 orchards near here that grow them so I usually try to get my fill of them. They do store well so usually if I get them at this time of year I'm good till December.

I love them plain, with some cheese or with caramel.

I like a good, fresh Fuji for its crunchiness and sharp flavor. I love sliced apples with some peanut butter on them.

My favorite is a Macoun, which is a New York State apple. I usually just eat them plain. But I like any kind of sliced apple with a dip made of vanilla yogurt, peanut butter and cinnamon.

Macoun apples dipped in Marzettis caramel dip, or Granny Smiths. Simply heavenly.

We went to Kroger this weekend and they had a new Apple variety we had never tried so of course we had to get some. They are called Sweet Tango and they are excellent apples, very sweet but with a mild tartness and crisp. We will be looking for those again.

something no one mentioned that I used to pick years ago where I used to live-Wolf River Apples...a very very old type which kept well,made lovely pies and pie filler..not the greatest to eat just out of your hand...and it was also a very LARGE apple....bigger than a regulation baseball..waaay bigger

dh and i are going to try to get back to the orchard and get honey crisp cider!

I like to have baked apples a lot when I have an oven meal. I put dried cherries, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup and marshmallows in a cored apple and then spoon the sauce over top.
