If you love a great fall day at an apple orchard — crisp air, bright sun and the color of ripe apples around you — recreate that feeling at home. Display fresh apples, introduce apple motifs or pull in the color of apples through your décor for an easy way to celebrate fall. Take a peek at the photos collected below for inspiration. All that’s missing is that fresh, cool breeze.
I know it’s tough, by try not to eat all the apples you bring home from the orchard. Instead, set a few out for a simple yet chic display on a coffee table. The color alone will make a statement.
Throw a bunch of apples in a pot and mix it with a bouquet of tulips and a few candlesticks for an inexpensive tabletop vignette.
Is your cake stand catching dust in your cabinets? Pull it out and display apples beneath the glass top.
For an easy decorating idea that’s as visually enticing as it is affordable, place apples on top of each other in tall vases. The look will add height and sculptural appeal to any surface.
Get creative by adding apples to your candlesticks. Find candlesticks with removable bottoms, and skewer apples along the stick.
The eye tends to seek out similar colors around a room, so if you already have a green centerpiece or other green accessories on display, place a bowl of apples nearby. The additional dash of green will balance the color throughout the room.
Have a vignette that’s itching for crisp color? A single apple can do the trick. Place it within the display to give the vignette new character.
The real deal not your thing? No worries: You can still work faux apples into your décor and achieve the same colorful feeling of fall. This oversized apple and pear combo is interesting to the eye.
One simple silver apple atop a pile of books adds a hint of glamour to this soft dresser display.
Jonathan Adler never disappoints, so it’s no surprise that his apple throw pillow adds both texture and playfulness to a room.
Artwork bearing fruit is an investment that will last a lifetime. This apple still-life would work well with any style.
Sometimes it’s simply an apple's hues that excite people. If that’s the case, infuse your space with crisp apple greens. The strength of the color will bring a fresh energy to your interior, particularly when mixed with soft colors like this pale blue.
Give your front door personality with a coat of apple green paint.
Consider bringing in apple red. Nothing beats a splash of red in a black-and-white color scheme, like this unexpected range from Aga, with its vintage appeal and bold shade.
Because apple green is so crisp and fresh, you can pair it with red without making it feel too Christmas-y. This room's pairing of the red accent wall with green throw pillows has a fall feel.
In this kitchen, red accessories complement a green backsplash.
Any bird would feel treated when snacking from these apple birdfeeders from Gardeners Supply Company.
Set out snacks or candies (or more apples!) in these apple- and pear-shaped serving bowls from the Curiosity Shoppe.
