Momcat, you can't post from your C drive because no one can see into your own computer.

The photo has to be uploaded to a webserver and have a wwww. address so it can be seen on the internet.

Many people have Photobucket accounts. They upload their photos to the server and then they can post them with an http:// addy.

This is sooooo great! I had very little computer time yesterday and didn't get to respond to the newer additions. I can't keep up now. LOL But I'm loving seeing all of you wonderful, friendly, handsome folks!

Again, I can't thank you all enough for participating and putting the effort into letting us get a good look at who we are gabbing with everyday. I'm saving this post for sure. I'm enjoying getting to see your darling pets too.

I'm not doing something right! This is my first attempt at posting a picture. Under my photo in Photobucket there are four lines. I thought I was supposed to copy one of them and paste in the message here. When I preview, I don't see the picture no matter which one I try. Should I be seeing the picture when I preview? Help, please!!

Well, I don't want to be left out. Here is DH and I about 1 1/2 years ago, before the digital. Most recent pic I could find of he and I together. Notice the pic on his shirt of Grimmy from the comic strip "Mother Goose and Grimm". He loves Grimmy and also Calvin from "Calvin and Hobbs" Tells you what kind of guy my DH is. A fun loving ingenious sweetie for sure.

Well, maybe I finally figured out this photo posting thing. Yeah!!!

This is at Lake Louise, Alberta. It was gorgeous! We took a long (3 month) RV trip in June from Texas to the Oregon coast, Washington, British Columbia and Alberta. Our daughter lives in Calgary. This was our retirement adventure as I retired in June. We had a wonderful time.

OMGosh Bette, you and your DH are doing exactly what my DH and I want to do. Same entire trip and in a motorhome too. We once thought we wanted a vacation house, but I think we're leaning more toward another motorhome. We had a 34 footer back in the mid 90's and loved it.

Gazania, my DH loves Calvin and Mother Goose and Grimm too. I always hear him laughing out loud on Sunday mornings when he's reading the paper. I know it's bound to be something Grimmy has said or done. LOL

Sorry to post this so late but here I am with a pic! I am not really fond of having my pic
taken so this pic was taken this past September in North Carolina at a surprise birthday party for my best friend Stacey. I am on the far rigtht with the flower printed shirt, Stacey is in the middle and the other person is Jeanine. I know that it is really small but Mallory tried to enlarge but the pic would have been distorted.
This has been a wonderful thread to finally 'meet' all that have posted.

Sorry I'm just now chimeing (chiming!?) in on this post. Didn't think I had a halfway recent photo of myself and then remembered some that we took in FL back in July.

I'm in the left in the blue, then Gail, then Patsy - my Ya Ya friends. Gail and I have been the best of friends since we were about 14-15. Patsy and I made mud pies together before I ever started to school. She was older - she was in first grade! LOL

This was taken at GS's high school graduation a couple of years ago with myself, GS and DH. I do not take good pictures and have very few with me in them, as I'm the one behind the camera usually.

Do you rescue greyhounds Karla? They are beautiful, as are you.

This is a recent picture...sort of. This was taken when Pirates III was out. A friend of mine was meeting us and was coming straight from a VBS thing at her church and it was a cowboy theme. So I told her I'd wear a cowboy hat so she wouldn't feel out of place. Well, she left hers in the car, so I was the lone cowgirl at the pirate movie. LOL
