Larry, thanks. And as you can see, I'm back. I finally found the "contact us" link on the bottom of the page and learned something. If you try to post 3 pics in 3 different posts one right after the other, the spam filter catches and blocks you. So for those of us too pc illiterate to post 3 pics at once, good to know. Or even if you post in different forums, they said leave 10 minutes between them. I think this sucks but I understand they have to filter out the spam.

LOL, Rosa - I had trouble setting up my iPad, too...I think I somehow bypassed the first setup screen. Took forever to figure out how to tell it I wasn't in Bermuda! :) They sure leave a lot of it up to you to figure out. I finally found the iPad user's guide on the Apple website. My mom keeps saying she wants to buy a new car. Her current car is a 1988 model (I think), and she hates both change and technology. I can't imagine trying to teach her about a new car with all the changes they've made since 1988! My brother got her either Dish TV or Direct TV one year. The guy came and installed all the stuff and left. Well, he may have given her the 2 minute training session they tend to give! LOL Anyway, she turned the TV on, her favorite channel wasn't at the right number, and she called them to cancel it and come get their equipment. They cancelled the service but no one ever came to get the dish and other stuff, so they are still there. She won't even let us unplug any of it because she's afraid her house will burn down or something. >sighsighDonna

Your first response to Elmer included a quote of what I had written, which explained the use of the Backspace key. And included in that response of yours to Elmer, you said that pressing the Backspace key once would take him to the top of this page, and pressing it a second time would take him back one page of his browsing session. That is incorrect. Pressing the Backspace key once (when not in the Comment box, typing like I am) will take you back one page in your browsing session and pressing it a second time will take you back one page further in your browsing section. If you are reading on a page and you want to get quickly to the top of the page, press the HOME key. The PAGE UP key will also move you upwards, but not completely to the top with one press. Depending on how far down the page you are, you might have to press the PAGE UP key several times.

Sounds like you might have gotten some malware or virus. Do you have an anti-malware program on your machine? If not, one you might try is MalwareBytes AntiMalware. Last time I had to use it, it was a free download. It has good instructions and a helpful forum to help you through the troubleshooting. Microsoft also offers a Malicious Software Removal Tool. Worst case scenario is you might have to do a factory reset to restore proper functioning. I had to do that about 2 years ago, and there was a way to save my files but I did have to reinstall some programs - sorry but I don't remember the details. Microsoft Help walked me through it. This is all based on my admittedly limited experience.
