The other day I was on Facebook and clicked on a you tube link...couple seconds in my screen turned dark green and said "locked"...so I quickly shut it down. so I go back to start up my laptop, put in the password to get in...all the icons load...and usually if it's been all the way shut down, skype and a couple other items pop up and you have to close or quit them. That didn't happen which I thought was unusual but didn't think much of it because its usually just a nuisance. so now after I logged in and all the icons/program load up on the front screen as I call it...it just keeps blacking out and reloading the icons..over and over. If I'm fast enough, I can open up the internet and still use it but you can see in the background that screen reloading over and over and over...

I did power off, I took the battery pack out and restarted and it still does it.

anyone ever heard of or experienced this?? I'll have to take it in to be looked at...but just wondering if anyone knows what may have caused that.

BTW, it's a older fat, heavy, nothing fancy Toshiba but it still works for my needs..if it's affordably repairable, I will get it fixed.
