Okay...this family has three iPads that don't come up full screen...all of them thought it was supposed to look like that. My friend used the 800 number yesterday and they tried a fix for it that didn't work. Now, they are going to maybe (if she calls them back) work through iTunes and try and fix the problem (at this point, she "knows" there is a problem) They told her that if that doesn't work, she should go to an Apple store and have them look at it and they would probably replace it with an iPad 2. Now, I didn't say anything else at this point, but I think she as the New iPad and not iPad 2, but that's what she was told over the phone. There must be no easy fix for this, but I find it strange that three in the same family have the problem. The same person set them all up to begin with...I wonder if she could have done something wrong? It didn't seem that hard to do. I don't know if all three of them were bought at the same time or not.

Our internet was down for a while and when I just got back on there is an enormous Target pop-up ad that is messsing up the whole page. I refreshed the page and the ad went away. I'm sure there will be lots of people complaining about it tomorrow!

d_gw, DD has gmail account. I've tried to "share" to both Yahoo and Gmail accounts. Both rejected it. In my original message, I copied and pasted the rejection language. Friend is on vacation and probably not checking email. She is much less "connected" than most people. diane_nj, the way the software is set up, it cannot be printed, nor can it be saved as a .pdf file. With new grandchildren, I'll be making plenty of photobooks. I've been making photobooks using My Publisher since 2011. I haven't made scads, but I've made enough and made them often enough to be familiar and comfortable with the software. I've used Blurb before but found it more difficult to navigate. If I cannot get this problem resolved, I'm going to have to change to a different company.

Unfortunately the only “solution” to a lost passcode is to reset the device and yes you will loose whatever is on it. There’s a couple of things to understand. The first is the difference between the device’s passcode and your AppleID password. The passcode is for a device, the password is for your Apple account (typically used to pay for things like apps and music). If you have been using iCloud to back things up, once you reset the device anything that was backed up will still be available. Of course, any apps you’ve downloaded will also be restored but you may loose things like levels in games or settings within an app. If you happen to have an Apple store nearby, you might want to think about taking advantage of the classes they offer for their products. Most are free, you just need to sign up.
