Lynn, you are just being smart. We all know that it you don't buy things early, it will be all picked over or gone by Halloween. You've sure found some neat Halloween things. That cage is going to be a great home for your new raven! Boy, I learned something new from this post, did not even know about glitter paint! Jane, did you say it comes in a spray paint too? Yipee! So much easier than the "old fashioned" way. Your cobwebing and your big spiders look just like some I picked up at DT today. Gosh, I sure love the bargains at those stores! Count me in on the not liking the goreie side of halloween, but I love the pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows. I guess you might say that the harvest side of the holidays are what I enjoy more. I never decorated for halloween, either until this forum, and I have bought all kinds of halloween deco this past yr at TS and goodwill.I bought a big ceramic lighted Haunted house at GW right after the holidays last year, and the other day DH cut me out some little tombstones to put in the yard. I have painted them black, but not got the eppitates (SP) on them yet. Just think about all the fun I have missed in years past! Janet

Jane, there is a lot more! Not as much as Christmas, but pretty much the whole downstairs and exterior. I got lots of compliments last night from the Trick or Treaters and their parents. We had over 120 T or Ter's even though a very chilly wind was blowing! The kids also like that I dress in costume to hand out the candy. This year I was Mary Poppins. Thanks Punk. Jeanne, The purple witch is hanging out on top of the entertainment ctr. with some of the other purple décor. Although I don't need any more, I still found a few new items this year, LOL Great memory regarding the painted witch boot! Now I have to take it down to make room for the turkeys and pilgrims! Thanks, ladies, for your comments on the cup cakes. The round top smooth blue with white ribbon was done when a customer asked for a cupcake that looked like a Tiffany box, so she tried different tints until she came up with that one. Then she did the blue square box "just because." She enjoys a challenge. The other blue one is "hydrangea" and I think that one is super beautiful. I have watched Cup Cake wars a couple times and just watching it makes me nervous; can't imagine what the contestants are going through. She has mentioned shipping, but not ready for that yet. She has done a few wedding cakes. Actually her DH is an amateur, but very good, photographer, and they together have done several weddings, including all the refreshments. Msmagoo, she is in McGaheysville. Are you in that area? I'll pass your comments on to to her. I know she will appreciate them as much as I have. Sue
