Another prayer request

Some of you will probably remember my niece that I asked for prayer for some time ago.She had been through so many surgeries for Carcinoid tumors.She has been doing really well until now.They did a PET scan on her a few days ago and found a spot in her rectum.Her doctor is worried about it and will do a biopsy next week.Please keep her in your prayers.Thanks

Good news! Rick is going home from the hospital today. I got to speak with him last night, and he sounded great. He said he feels better than he has in a long time, his pain is greatly diminished, and he rarely has to take pain meds. He's been in pain for a while, but the doctor (not the one that discovered the tumor) said it was arthritis and put him on high dose Ibuprophen. He doesn't have to take that now. Yeah! Sally

I just talked to my SIL and she says that Dean is holding his own. I guess that is a good thing but you want to hear so much better than that.It is just hard when I am in Florida and I want to be in Texas with him.I have another prayer request,this one for my husband.I spent the morning at the doctors with him and he has been having problems swallowing food and they say he needs an Esophagal Dialation.It is a good thing that I believe in prayer or I would be feeling pretty lost right now. Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

Just got some sad news, an old friend, Sheryl, has passed, she found out last week she had cancer, it was very advanced, her sister took her to the hospital and she just laid down and died. We just didn't have time to process the idea that she had cancer much less pass. I know, these young people in Alabama and Atlanta had no warning and they shouldn't have been taken from their families at all. I guess Sheryl is just close to home and age. Hug the ones you love as often as you can. Sending prayers of comfort. Aunt Net

Greetings Pattico. I'm sorry that you have this extra concern to deal with, these days. I'm sending thanks for the good news about the one cousin-in-law, with some hopes and prayers that the healing may continue well. Also some good hopes and prayers for her sister who is travelling under a black cloud at the moment, that there may be good news there as well and the worry unfounded ... but with such a history, especially when the girls were so young when their Mom was so ill, they must be feeling an extra measure of worry. Sometimes it warms a wounded heart to know that strangers are concerned and sending good wishes, so I hope that you will let the girls know of our concern, if you feel it appropriate.
