My sister has a small 60 acre family farm that was annexed into the city about 15 years ago. While she still maintains it as a horse farm most of the adjoining property around her has since been sold for residential developement. For the most part she gets along fine with her neighbors but she has one neighbor who took it upon himself to cut a barbed wire fence, fill in a perimiter drainage ditch and extend his lawn another two acres into her field. The property has twice been officially surveyed and the neighbor was served written notice of encroaching on her land. On top of that she has twice taken him to court for property damages for cutting the fencing, yet he continues to extend his lawn more and more. On day in early spring I was at the farm and sis was at wits end on how to deal with this character. I said, "no problem sis, I will get his attention today" I then went an got the trusty old John Deere farm tractor out and gave the horse barn a thorough spring cleaning, removing about 4 tons of manure, which i loaded on the manure spreader and hauled it to the back of the property where tne neighbor was happily puttering along on his little craftsman riding mower. I went right up close to the property line and dropped the manure spreader in gear, then i ran parallel to the fence making sure that nothing was being thrown over the fence but making a good ground cover at the state mandated maximum rate of two tons per acre. I made one pass and when i turned around to come back on the parallel track the neighbor walks out in the fields and asks "What the hell do you think your doing?" I said, "Simple buddy, I am just spreading all the BS you been passing to us?" The neighbor then pulled out a cell phone and called the cops. The cops came and asked me what i was doing? I said, i am spreading horse manure in preparation of plowing this field, its technically called "Organic farming", do you have a problem with that?" I then got off the tractor and walked the cop over to the property line and showed him the survey stakes and where the neighbor had actually cut the fence. The cop then went over to the neighbor who was livid, shouting all kinds of stuff about health regulations and spreading effluent, etc. The cop pulled out his pad and asked the neighbor for his ID. The neighbor thought the cop wanted his information to file a complaint against me so he immediately handed his license to the cop, all the while still pointing at me and shouting obscenities and nonesense about health laws and such. Imagine the neighbors surprise when the cop handed him a citation for cutting the fence, filling a drainage ditch and tresspassing, then telling him that what i was doing was perfectly legal and normal functions for a working farm. The cop then waved at me and hollered "have a good day, and by the way, if this guy gives you any more problems call me, next time i come out her I'm gonna haul him in."

I have another story! This happened yesterday and while it didn't seem funny at first it did after I cleaned the mess up! LOL We laid DS down for a nap and his father put a diaper on him so he wouldn't end up with a wet bed. He told DS that just because he had a diaper on did not mean that if he had to pee or poop he couldn't take it off and go. DS said, "Okay, Daddy." We then went back to our room and watched Trading Spaces and thought about taking naps ourselves. After a while we hear DS coming to our room. He's holding his blankies and when he puts them down, my fiance' sees something on him. He then realizes DS has poop on himself and he asks where his diaper is. I started seeing pictures of the times he pooped and ripped his diaper off and smeared it everywhere. I jump up and dash to his room and scan for a mess. I don't see or smell anything. Then I see the door to the 1/2 bath off of his room is open. I look in there and there is poop on his stool, on the toilet seat in two places and the handle on the toilet and also some in the sink. He had the used some toilet paper to clean up some of the mess and looked in the soap dispenser for some soap but it was out. I start questioning him on where his diaper is and ask about the garbage and he says, "Yes." But there are no dirty diapers in the garbage so were searching for a diaper again. Then we realize that DS realized he had to poop so he went to the bathroom. He took the diaper off and threw it in the garbage and then crawled up on the toilet and held himself on it. He must have sat back pretty far so that's how the poop got on the back of the seat. Then when he went to slide off his butt would have rubbed on the front part where there was more poop. He then must have gotten the toilet paper and wiped himself and gotten some poop on his hand from trying to do that himself, which he then got on the handle when he tried to flush and then in the sink when he tried to wash off. He even demonstrated what he did on the other toilet and it all adds up. He was so proud of himself! I hated having a mess but it has to be a good thing when a almost 3 year old is willing to go and clean up his own mess! LOL I also knew a little boy who thought you could pee anywhere. My father, his girlfriend, my brother and I and the gf's three younger boys were at a local fireman's carnival. We all got on a ride except for the 3 year old. While the rest of us were on the ride, Brett decided he had to pee. He told his Mom and my Dad and her were looking for a porta potty or something. Meanwhile she looks down and there he is peeing right in the middle of the crowd. We don't think anyone saw him though. ~Leslie~

Well, thank him for me, I am humbled. The text is spelt incorrectly, it's suppose to be "Fowling Up My Lawn", you got me there. It's just a watermark and the b&w is so people don't rip me off :) The style of art is known as "pixelart" which might well be familiar to you, it is meant to look "retro". If you search online for keywords "pixelart tree" you will see something very familiar, until you focus in and see each leaf is different. I taught myself the technique in about three weeks, from the beginning of this month, after coding some game mechanics: buying items in the shop and how damage is calculated. I started with the vegetables, but needed a tree and found the best online that I could. It is quite a complex process to layer and structure the leaves to appear 3D, it took a week to figure out, and ended up with something imperfect, but something that I can ship. Since I now know how it goes together I plan to code a tree so that they can generate themselves, but not right now of course. The tree here is very close up, so the grey on the ground is actually shading, which is not too bad once the grass is textured and more items are on screen. The fruits are supposed to be quince, you'll notice some rotting on the floor. This season is autumn, that's why the tree branches are somewhat visible - this season also has chestnuts and figs..

Aok, here is something from the department of justice that tells what that customer is up to. The scams work like this: Someone responds to your posting or ad, and offers to use a cashier's check, personal check or corporate check to pay for the item you're selling. At the last minute, the so-called buyer (or the buyer's "agent") comes up with a reason for writing the check for more than the purchase price, and asks you to wire back the difference after you deposit the check. You deposit the check and wire the funds back to the "buyers." Later, the check bounces, leaving you liable for the entire amount. I am still shocked by the depths of awfulness in people.
