Diane, try clicking on the photo to get the larger version at photobucket, then copy and paste the url, see if that gives it to you in a larger size.

I download my camera to the c drive, then upload to photobucket...it fits the screen. So then I have to "edit" the pic to "large" to make it SMALLER. If your not getting a FULL size(covers the entire screen) screen shot then your not uploading a full size file to Photobucket. This is FULL size before I make it smaller to post here....

You can regulate the size of the picture in the code you are entering.

when you upload a pic to your photobucket account and it comes up showing you the uplaoded pic if you put your cursor up at the top of the pic a hidden options bar appears and select resize there you can choose the other options which will open up an editor where you can choose what size you would like to make the image and then save it that way.

You can't make your picture BIGGER once it's loaded in Photobucket. You can make it smaller.....

Why not upload a different pic and see if it then posts as the same size.

you can use the resize editor at photobucket as I posted to make any pic bigger however depending on what the resolution was it may make the picture fuzzy or grainy so always using the higher resolution of the pic in the first place will provide best results.

You can determine the size when you upload by going to the main upload window and selecting (more options). That will give a list of the sizes you can upload as. 800x600 is a pretty safe choice.

I just uploaded a pic and the page says
1 of 1 image has been uploaded.
and Now organize your uploads...

Add Titles, Descriptions and Tags Individually

Hovering above the pic does not bring up any options bar.

I have photobucket free....maybe that makes the difference.

another way to get to the resize editor, on your actual album above each photo it has an edit option directly above each pic along with move, share, delete, if you click on the edit option it will then open the editor where you can resize the picture.
To see the hidden bar I mentioned go to your album and just click right on any picture in there in the new page that opens with that picture in it now put your cursor at the very top edge of the picture and the toolbar should appear with the resize option.

I re size with Irfanview before I upload to PB. I read in the PC help forum that the 640x 480 pixels is a good size for posting in forums and in email.
