Two libraries have I

Our Township covers 3 towns and voted several years ago to repair all three libraries, make them fully handicap accessible. . They closed in this order: A,B.C. Then B reopened in April and I started driving there (about 5 miles). I liked library B but the parking lot was always jammed because it served all three towns. But I enjoyed going early in the morning when it opened, reading all the newspapers in the seating lounge, plus taking out books. Meanwhile I watched eagerly for my nearest, library "C" to reopen. Heard there were construction problems, wrong roof overhangs were delivered, couldn't pour concrete due to cold wet spring, plants for an outside patio got killed by a frost, workers didn't show up, just everything went wrong. Then library B opened the beginning of September. Heard library C (my closest, in walking distance) would open "any day". Walked by and saw shelves up, but no books. Heard they had no water for restrooms, etc. Then last Wednesday Oct 3 Library C reopened without fanfare, no ceremony, just a small story in the newspaper and a banner at the door. I went over and took out 3 books on doll house furniture, my latest interest. The next day I drove to Library A to return a couple of books and say goodbye to bad parking. Seemed odd to visit two libraries in two days.
