My priceless Granddaughter on Halloween

So my beautiful little bumble bee ( 3 yr old granddaughter) was handing out candy here last night.

Two kids about 7 or 8 came to the door and after getting their candy they started walking away. Madisen yells out "hey, you forgot something". They said "what"? and she replies "you forgot to say thank you"!!!

We about died laughing. Priceless!!! Wish I remember how to post a picture....I'm sure you'd agree with me that she is the most adorable bumble bee you've ever seen! ;)

That's a priceless memory. I'd definitely think she's the prettiest bee. I love little kids.

Love seeing the little ones in their costumes!
No trick-or-treat around here until the 31st. There have been some Halloween/Fall Festivals with cars grouped and decorated for Trunk-or-Treat.

You are so funny. If you wouldn't of mentioned the napkin being out of place in the first pics, I wouldn't of noticed. Sounds like it was out of place for a good reason. Be sure and tell DGD we loved another one of her tables. She is on her way to be a Master Tablescaper. My DGD is going to follow in her footsteps if she keeps her interest going and I love it. Love it Sue!!! Jgbm: I wish I had the time to learn!! Maybe someday when I'm not up to my eyeballs in kid activities and work. As for Miley, if you knew my friend who had the nerve to dress up in it, you'd find it a riot too! It wasn't quite as revealing as the real one and she wore a miniskirt with it. I didn't think anyone would have the nerve to do it. As much as I can't stand Miley, for an adult only party it was hilarious.

You're welcome. :-) She looks ecstatic! Don't waste that pumpkin on Halloween though lol. Remove and clean the seeds. Season them with your favorite seasoning blend - even just some salt will do nicely - and lightly roast them. You can find many methods on the web. I like them raw myself. Then, have your granddaughter help you peel and chop that puppy up. Roast it for the savory base of a wonderfully creamy soup, or turn it into pie filling. You could stir fry it, or even chunk it into bite size pieces, add brown sugar, a few autumn spices, and cook it in a roasting pan to make a dessert like baked apples. A little ice cream on the side and yummmm! You could just half it, pour in some brown sugar and maple syrup and bake it like a squash. So many delicious choices!

Absolutely loved it! Years ago in the last neighborhood we lived, I got so angry that not one halloweener that came to the door said Happy Halloween or thank you, I made sure we had plans for halloween (dinner and movies) every year thereafter.
