Gas I grew up with a gas stove and when I got married we had an electric and I was always burning things and boiling things over. I couldn't remember I had to remove a pan quickly instead of just turning off the burner. When we moved from Our first home and had to get a new stove I went to gas. Won't have it any other way.

Is chili considered soup? It's slightly preferred over my nearly favorite, most any kind of meat in vegetable soup. Although, good chicken wild rice is probably tied with it. Actually I prefer soups to be more like a stew. Thick, so you can stand a spoon upin it, hearty, and good sized chunks. Crackers, toast or bread?

"Rear Window", "To Catch a Thief" and "North by Northwest". And I second the nomination of 'swoon worthy' for Cary Grant. Not only was he one of the most handsome men on the face of the earth, but he had great comedic timing, as well. Remebber "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House", "Bringing Up Baby" and "Arsenic and Old Lace"? And it's known that he was as kind as he was handsoms. What a combination! "No money, no material reward is comparable to the praise, the shouts of well done and accompanying pat on the back of one's fellowman. Applause and laughter in the theater have a similar effect; and sometimes, today, I stand with Russell Downing, the manager of the finest, largest cinema in the world, the Radio City Music Hall in New York, in a quiet darkened corner, and listen to that huge audience roaring with laughter at something I've done, the tilt of my head or a facial reaction, and joy seems to burst within me." -- Cary Grant 1963

LOL Kframe! I am still using the Scrubbing Bubbles disposable until I run out but there is no way I am flushing that paper thingy down the toilet again. Cost me too much in plumbing bills when after 2 years of using them they clogged the pipe causing my basement to flood again. They do not disintegrate and should not be flushed! I saw what was pulled out of the pipe. I have a good mind to send the bill to whoever makes that product with pictures of what was pulled out! Anne

It's a toss-up between Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett.

Johnny for his wit and Dick for his intellect.

From the past, the one and only, Johnny Carson. Wish he were still here and on TV.

Today, I've got to stick with my girl, Oprah.

Dick Cavett was my first thought, but then Phil Donahue edged him out. I loved Johnny Carson, though . . . I guess I don't think of the late-night shows as "talk shows."

Ellen or Oprah for me, too. I've never been able to stay awake for late-night shows and still get up at 5 a.m. for work.

All time favorite would be Johnny Carson! He started on my third birthday (Oct 1, 1962) and ended on our 10th anniversary (May 22 1992).

Currently it would be Ellen Degeneres!

Johnny Carson here too, but I also remember and loved Merv Griffin.....and Dick Cavett. They were "different"! Often educational or thought provoking instead of just promotioning something.
