They are tearing down some flood houses now and putting everything in a warehouse. I'll be hitting that as soon as it's open. They said Sept........... But now I'm done with major remodeling. I don't NEED to buy stuff. In fact, I should take another load up there. They are really nice to me now that they've connected my face with the stuff I brought them!

Have you looked into Amish cabinet makers near you? You could try Google for that (search first in your area and then if you're within 150 miles or so from any Amish country, like eastern PA, search in that area). If Google doesn't help then call Mullet Cabinet in Ohio and see if they can point you to any Amish near you. It is a little known secret but Amish people literally have phone books (or I guess I should say address books) that list every Amish person and business in the United States. And probably Canada too. You could also contact an Amish furniture dealer in your area, if you know of one, and ask them (1) if they do cabinets and (2) if not, can they recommend anyone. Amish have almost no overhead costs, so their cabinets are amazingly inexpensive, considering how good the quality is and the fact that it's totally custom. On my quote they were cheaper than Home Depot, and way better. They quoted ceiling-height maple cabinets (solid doors/drawers, plywood boxes) for a 10.5x17-foot kitchen, including a six-foot peninsula and cabinets around the fridge, at just under $11,500, plus around $2500 for installation (evidently the Amish can have non-Amish people drive them and the cabinets to your house to do the install, or else they use non-Amish installers). That's really cool that your roses are coming back. I'm sooo glad I live in a place where I don't have to worry about that! Altho, we have had some hairy winters in the past. We normally get a day or so of snow every winter, but it's been a long time. Right now it's in the 40's with rain, rain, rain! I can't complain too much tho, because we need it badly. I just hate when we get so much in one shot or so. The local creeks and waterways are almost about to overflow, even after several yrs of going nearly dry! It's crazy. They said it was going to take like 3yrs to get our lakes and reservoirs back to normal. But they were wrong! I think I read the other day that Oroville Lake rose something like 20" in less than a week, and that was before this storm hit! All my roses have been coming back with a vengeance. The weather was warm two weeks or so ago. We always get a Feb or Jan spring teaser, but this last one was like almost 2weeks of 60-70degree days. I got a lot of yardwork done. But I knew it would get cold again. Winter ain't over yet!! Oh but I noticed my neighbor's forsythia started blooming a couple days ago, despite the cold temps! I'm ready for spring!! Ya gotta post some pics of those babies when they bloom again!! We wanna see 'em!!
