My go-to, stress-reliever, happy-white-noise movie is Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. I love, love, love that movie. I have a well-played DVD, plus I lucked out and got a $5 download of it into my iPod.

I truly enjoy watching favorite movies, old BBC series, etc., over and over. No matter how many times I've watched them, or listened to them while I was busy doing other things, I always pick up something new. Either a line of dialog, or background details, etc.

Going with a group to see Casablanca, Tuesday.

There are several that I will start watching no matter where in the movie it is. Today was Twister... I like that movie. Others are Coal Miners Daughter also. A number of musicals, 7 brides for 7 brothers. Too many to name actually! hahahahaha ANY Star Trek movie, mostly the whale one.

I like Coal Miner's also, but my personal favorite is Mr. Holland's Opus. Love the music and timeline.

Our feel good, need a laugh movies are Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men. How can you beat Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon :-)

I could watch Stargate SG1 the series over and over and over. It's a fantastic series for sci-fi fans.

"Gone With the Wind" and "Carpetbaggers" are my favorites. I never tire of watching them.

The missus just rolls her eyes as I watch Blazing Saddles.

I generally don't watch movies or tv shows more than once. The exceptions are Blazing Saddles (I'm with you on this one Jim), and Dirty Dancing. Somehow I always manage to turn on DD near the end which is my favorite part. "Nobody puts Baby in a corner".

Since the Outlander series on Starz started I have watched each episode so many times I've lost count. I absolutely can't get enough of that show. I see new things each time I watch because there is so much detail. I'm the same way with the books the series is based on by Diana Gabaldon. I have read/listened to some of them more than once. That's something I just never do with other books. My only complaint about the show is it's only on for and hour!!

TCM, Turner Classic Movie channel is one I enjoy watching.

Other day, I watched How to Marry a Millionaire with Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable, Lauren Bacall

We rarely see a movie twice "on purpose". We both like 'talk-y' movies. I like "The Lion in Winter". DH likes "Judgement at Nuremberg".

Second Hand Lions, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and all time favorite Lonesome Dove.

The Notebook has been playing repeatedly on one of the channels we have.
We watched it again last week and really enjoyed it again but I had tears streaming down my face as usual with this movie, I turned to say something to my husband and he had tears in his eyes too. It is such a touching story and one any of us could be facing any day. Such a dreadful disease.

I'll watch my favorite parts of a movie multiple times, but I rarely watch the whole movie again unless it has been years since I've seen it, but I tend to be a one-activity-at-a-time person rather than a multi-tasker.

Our all time, laugh-out-loud, fun time movie is an early Bruce Willis movie - Blind Date

I don't know how many times I've watched Guess Who's Coming to Dinner with Spencer Tracey and Kathryn Hepburn and Sidney Portier. I'm thinking maybe 30 times!!

two Christmas movies "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and Holiday in Handcuffs, also Desk Set I can put them in at bedtime and fall asleep

I always watch Casablanca and African Queen, along with Twister.

Also am thrilled when Bird Cage comes on. I love that cast. They are all wonderful, from Robin Williams down to Agador Spartacus from Guatemala. This is where I learned to appreciate Christine Baranski and Nathan Lane. And Diane Wiest.

Then there's Guarding Tess, with Shirley MacLaine and Nicolas Cage. Such a sweet relationship between the two of them.

Auntie Mame, The Way We Were, just about any musical, anything with Paul Newman, Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant,JimmyStewart, Jack Lemmon, Gregory Peck, the silly Doris Day movies of the late 50's/60's.....so many I could watch over and over again.... and have.

The only movie I would NEVER watch again is Silence of the Lambs...the scene with the prison guards gave me nightmares for weeks!

My zone out favorite collection is The Golden girls.

Yesterday, we went and saw Guardians of the Galaxy for the third time in the movie theater. Then came home and listened to the sound track over and over. Can't wait until it comes out on DVD!

Fifth Element, Cowboys and Aliens, Avatar, Twilight, Flash Dance, How to Train Your Dragon....

OH man, we LOVED Cowboys and Aliens! Such a great under-rated movie!

I also love While you were sleeping. I like both Pullman and Bullock.

I was just watching a movie with Pullman in it last night-
Independence Day.

Will Smith was also in the movie. Speaking of Smith-I like Pursuit of Happyness.

Happyness is mispelled on purpose for those not familiar with the movie.

I guess there are just to many to list that I watch over and over.
I will say, for me, I like the older movies (90's) better than I do some of the movies today.

I watched Titanic, The Notebook, Romeo and Juliet movies at least a dozen times. These entire unrequited movies are amazing and they have show so much love and attachment that I donâÂÂt think this is practical today.
