One Halloween here at the KT when myself & my "Partners In Crime" caused so much havoc?? What can we do this year to entertain the troops so to speak?? LOL

Thanks. A great tip, dedtired. You should post this in the Discussions. Refrigerator works the same way as an air conditioner mechanically. The "coil" is called condensing coil. Sometimes under the unit, sometime vertically in the back. Sometimes there is a little fan to help cool the coil which will also need cleaning. If it is not cleaned, the coil cannot dissipate heat well, the compressor will overwork against greater back pressure, your fridg will not cool efficiently, you will pay more in electric charge, and your unit will breakdown eventually with an expensive compressor replacement fee. For many models, you also should take out the tray under the unit to completely wash it. That's the tray to catch water from the freezer defrosting. It is disgusting the dried up dirt collected on it. Also, there may be a little tube that goes from the freezer to the tray which drains freezer water to the tray. You will find there is a lot of gummy green growth inside the tube which will need to be cleaned. If you have dogs and cats, you will need to clean the coil more often. dcarch

I often think about squirrel and her photoshop generosity. I think she decided to turn her skill into a business. I hope it worked out. There was a poster that lived in AZ and had health issues. (Eileen?) Her posts were very polarizing but I occasionally wonder if she is well. It's interesting that some people seem to get obsessed with this site, post like crazy, bare their soul and then vanish.

Zalco, I haven't been to Terun, their crust looks delicious! Thanks for the rec. FYI, I don't consider Round Table to be great pizza, but it's close to my house and nostalgic. Pizza Delfina is really good and Vesta in Redwood City is where I go for creative toppings. Now that I think of it, Menlo Park doesn't have any great pizza places but I live in the next town over so if I'm lazy it's there or Redwood City. I grew up in Palo Alto and love to reminisce about all the great restaurants up and down El Camino, University Ave. etc. that are now gone. It's amazing that Round Table is still going strong. I especially miss the "old" Mings before they switched to mostly dim sum. I think we went out for dinner more than a lot of families. I could name 50 restaurants from Mt. View to Menlo Park that are now gone. I miss the good old days! I bought a small pizza oven but making the dough from scratch seemed more trouble than it was worth. Never tasted as good as the better pizza places.

I remember the Snackin cakes, sure were a lot easier and just the right size for us kids. (I also remember Shake-a-Puddin’ that we brought to school in our lunchboxes. Always a lineup at the drinking fountain for water to make it.) Nothing coolong here. But. I go for weekday brunch/lunch often with a friend. I’ve ordered crêpes a few times, but it is always just a pancake rolled up with filling. But yesterday we went to a French cafe. Ordered savory crêpes made at an actual crêpe station. THAT was a crêpe. We hosted a couple of teenage French boys one summer. One boy’s family had a restaurant and he wanted to make crêpes for us. so I went to Williams-Sonoma and bought the pan. His were good! For years after we used the pan to make, well, maybe not crêpes, but Swedish pancakes (which my Danish grandmother called Danish pancakes and we called ”delicate thin pancakes” after a hotel we stayed at in Montréal in 1967. Yes, for Expo) The pan lasted us for 25 years, we just tossed it.

Well I can't remember all of it, after all we worked all night! LOL But I do remember Katt & I toilet papering a few of the members houses. Putting poop on a few doorsteps, and eventually being chased by the cops! All done in gifs, it was a riot. Who else remembers what all we did or had done to us?
