Bigbaby and I became grandparents for the 2nd time Saturday. Our daughter and her husband have a 6 year old daughter and now Nicolas joins their family.

After. He weighed 8lbs. 14 oz.!

i was out there saturday from 1:00-8 and sunday 8:30-8:30. today 2-6:30. sons got to go to boyscouts so I had to come in and feed him. I am starting to think I have a compulsive gardening disorder. seriously. I can't stop! i can't get enough plants. I worked the master gardner plant sale in our county and came home with plants, went to a nursery i had never been to before "totally awesome" i bought plants. of course it was just stuff i didnt have seeds to winter sow. this year I will. Thanks so much, everyone! I also tend to think she's VERY cute, but maybe I'm biased? Ahhh, yes, our new "child..." I have posted pictures previously of our "first born," our Shih-tzu, Murphy. Well, now Murphy has a furry new companion, a Shih-tzu brother named Bode (pronounced BO-dee.) As if our lives weren't chaotic enough with a new baby, why not add a puppy to the mix? Here is Bode... (sorry, the lighting was a bit bad, it's hard to see his eyes...) Here are Bode and big brother Murphy playing... AND... my big news... MAKENNA IS CRAWLING!! I simply must share this video. Thanks all Oh no Jim, she has a doggy run so she can't get to the plants. I have some that are poisonous and I don't want to take any chances. Puppy chews EVERYTHING LOL, shoes, toes nothing is safe with her right now. To say She's a hand full is putting it mildly and we love her.

What a precious little guy! The pictures are wonderful--thanks for sharing. The big sister looks happy to have her new little brother. Reminds me of myself when my brother was born--I was 6. Of course, within about 2 years, I was ready to send him back! We both survived his bratty years and are now good friends.
