Hi, I think i figured out how to post pics. with the help from my son. so I will give it a whirl.

Thanks. I don't know what variety the roses are...I lost the tags a while ago. That's an Endless Summer hydrangea, the most successful hydrangea I've grown. It blooms on old and new wood. I'm really impressed with the new double wave petunia as well...what a beauty! The pictures were supposed to have captions describing what everything is...I guess I need to work on that. In my small vegetable patches I'm growing: Zucchini, swiss chard, B-sprouts, peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. I have a few Earth Box's with some more tomatoes. I figure if I plant enough of them, the critters might just leave some for me!

Mike, That is indeed a fig. It was my first and is nice and large but yet to throw off any figs. My smaller and newer one had 4 figs in the first year I had it (they fell off b/c winter came) and is now covered with tiny new figs. Go fig-ure (sorry), I've heard some plants take a while to produce. And mandrin1, it's indeed a she. Cali is my rescue kitty. She likes sitting IN the larger pots. I'm worried my tomato seedlings will meet the same fate as the arugula she sat on after sampling. Luckily my balcony is really well shielded from the wind. The folks on the back side are lucky if they can keep soil in their pots. Best! Liz

In photobucket, click on share above the picture, then get link code, then click on HTML full size to highlight it, RIGHT click on HTML, left click on copy. You now have your photo ready to post. Go back to Hosta forum, type your message, hit return once or twice, then RIGHT click, click on paste and your photo will be there. Hit preview to see it before you hit submit. I resize my photos in photobucket to large or to fit a 15 inch screen before I post my photos. Practice a couple of times, we would love to see your photos.

i was out there saturday from 1:00-8 and sunday 8:30-8:30.
today 2-6:30. sons got to go to boyscouts so I had to come in and feed him. I am starting to think I have a compulsive gardening disorder. seriously. I can't stop!
i can't get enough plants. I worked the master gardner plant sale in our county and came home with plants, went to a nursery i had never been to before "totally awesome"
i bought plants. of course it was just stuff i didnt have seeds to winter sow. this year I will.
