Oh, Jan! I'll bet you anything that chick used to work in the back of the One-Shoe-Store!!!! Lemmie at her---I'll punch her in the nose for being so mean to you!! You know---I used to go into the Nextel store here in town for help with the business phone I was given to use---those girls in there were always so mean to me---rude as can be!---And would NEVER help me! Well, I went into Radio Shack next door because the phone place had left town. The little girl in Radio Shack has always been so sweet and on the ball---she tried to fix the phone, but it lapsed again and I thanked her for trying to help. I told her it looked like I was out of luck---since the phone store was closed down, but then again maybe not, since they never helped me, anyhow. She said, "You know how word gets around in a small town---there's a good reason they had to close up and leave, and those two girls were the cause of it!" ---and laughed her head off! Maybe they were trained by the same professionals as the girl who waited on YOU! ;)

Great pictures and great maps! Heidi, don't worry - unlike algebra - there won't be a test on the maps. We appreciate you doing them. It's making the month a lot more fun and you have a new addition to the maps with the GardenWeb names included on them. Love it! It seems I have lots of appointments scheduled this week so sorry if I don't drop in soon after you post. Today one of the garden groups that I belong to had a meeting and luncheon out of town so between the meeting, lunch, and travel - lots of my day was gone... not to mention I did a bit of snoozing in front of the TV when I got home! Lunch was so delicious though - it was worth the drive. Our speaker talked about roses and when I got home I walked around to check on my plants ... and yes, I had my first rose blossom of the year! Our youngest son and his wife "adopted" a couple of children from a needy family at Christmas. They bought outfits, outerwear and toys for the kids as well as food for the family. They were with us this Christmas, and when we went to see the Christmas display and Nativity scene at the local Conservatory, they put $20 into the jar for funds that would be matched for needy children by a local company. These kids have decent jobs, but it makes my husband and I so happy to see that they share what they have. Our boy was raised this way, and we're so pleased he married someone who shares this philosophy. You're right, eliza ann, there are lots of good young folks out there...we don't hear enough about them.

WOW that is truly amazing. I saw your last photo also. SOrry to hear about the anti-depressants. My dad passed in Nov. 2005 suddenly and now my mom is turning into a zombie. The doc gave her pills too. She said they make her feel sluggish. I think your daughter is still sending love to you the only way she knows you will believe its from her. I hear songs now and then my dad use to like and I know thats him telling us hes ok. I dont know what goes on in the afterlife, but I do believe they are surrounded by complete love and happiness. God will walk ahead of you and then hold your hand to help you through the hard times. I am sure your daughter would not want you to be unhappy, thats why you keep seeing hearts. She probably wants you to still remember all the good memories and leave go of all the pain. I hope that helps you sheebah. I'll send prayers your way. Someone told me once that people are born to have a purpose and that sometimes they only need a few years to accomplish that purpose, and for some of us it takes alot longer to do. I know we will all be together again someday.
