What's for dinner 9/7/10

Well, it's getting to be that time again, so what are you having? We had to take a computer monitor back to Wal-Mart since that wasn't the problem, and that store flat wears me out. So I'm making a sausage pizza tonight. (I buy the crust.)

A group from church was to have a picnic, but it's cold, so we will eat at church. Usually good food, so that will be OK,I guess.

OK, so the jpg identifies the drawing as #2, but that doesn't show on FB. The image that shows 1 sink with the comment "trough sink and 2 fixtures", is the leading contender. Not the red line drawing with 2 sinks. D'oh!

I ate out...chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, fried mushrooms, corn on the cob, crowder peas, strawberry and pecan pralines and cream ice cream and iced tea. I had a stressful morning and a very leisurely late lunch.

patti43-What is brown sugar meat loaf? DS was saying tonight that meatloaf sounded good.Every one's menu sounds delish! Peach pie and bread pudding.MMMMM We had some hamburger patties left from a couple of days ago.DS was going to cook them on the grill but we didn't have any buns OR bread so I smashed them up to make them a little smaller and thicker and fried them in a skillet on the stove.Opened a couple of cans of green beans.All I had was one can of French style and one can of cut so I just mixed them.Then I seasoned them with salt,pepper and garlic powder.Took the lid off the garlic powder to sprinkle some in and dumped about a tablespoon into the beans! I had bought a different brand than what I usually use and this one had the flip top instead of the screw on one covering the little holes.I rinsed them off as best I could but they were still pretty garlicky.Didn't have any potatoes or rice but had a package of fettuccine noodles and a jar of Alfredo sauce so I made that as a side dish.It was pretty good and nobody complained.You can probably tell tomorrow is grocery shopping day!LOL

I gobbled down a pork chop, maybe a spoonful of carrot raisin salad, and the same of navy beans.

Was in a hurry to get a manicure.

Brown rice with chopped veggies cooked in the oven.
Stir-fried boneless pork spiced with my homemade spice mix.

We have Pork Tenderloin left over from a weekend cookout so we're stir frying it with veggies and rice and some home grown hot peppers from a friend.

Leftovers from yesterday. Birmingham wings, fresh zipper peas, pasta salad, and I have to steam some corn on the cob. We didn't have any of the squash leftover that I cooked yesterday.

I tried a new to us recipe. Chicken and rice baked in the oven and it wasn't very good. I hate when that happens!!!!

I had chocolate covered peanuts and a coke.

This afternoon I got a perm. which puts the ache back into my shoulders that PT is trying to help. Then I went to WalMart for a few things and they have moved everything around so I had to walk and walk just to find what I wanted. I asked one of the clerks where the laundry detergent was and she told me. It was all the way into another section. I told her they need to hand out maps. She said it wouldn't help because nothing would probably be in the same place very long! All that walking added to my aches and I was tired.

So back to dinner: I had a craving for chocolate covered peanuts. All they had was Great Value. Not very good.

I made scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. I had nothing planned and I was going to stop for something before I remembered I had the bacon leftover from making baked beans. I really should make eggs for dinner more often.
