Oh, Joann, that is so special and sweet of you to do that. It choked me up. So many empty chairs. Thank you, very much.

Oh, Joann, what a lovely tribute to those who have gone to their reward - THANK YOU!

Would it be possible to put the names in BIGGER print on each chair, so those of us with old eyes can see the name?

Also, would it be too much trouble to put their full name on each chair?

That's so nice of you, Joann. May I mention that I believe Trin's name was Judy Chumley, not Jan.

I don't know their full names or anything about them. Please add any facts and send them to me. Dates, place, KT name anything you have.

Go take another look, I am confused on some of these names. Please correct my mistakes. I made the chairs bigger so you can see the names now. I have no idea of the order they should be in either.

There was a Jan from GA that passed away at such a young age.

That turned out great, Joann - thanks again!

I must have missed JOMO's passing - can anyone tell me what happened?

Oh, dear, I didn't know JOMO was no longer with us, either.

Sadly, there are some members here who have no contact with KT members except on the forum, so if they leave us, how would we know?

Jan Angel Kisses was from GA and passed away at a young age.

Joann, You are doing so much work on this site, Thank you. One adjustment.....Judy Chumley IS TrinityTX.

I fixed it, Let me know of any others.

A very fitting tribute, joann. Keep up the good work!

Joann, sorry, but my Webtv is acting up & I can't get in to seeing your new tribute! I still have in my add book these two names of gals from the KT. Jan Chamlee, I believe is Angel Kisses--& then there was Jan Anderson, both of them used to e-mail me. Hope this helps you.

Thx for updating our chairs. Sure is nice of you!

Also, I didn't know JOMO passed, this hurts me.

Thx, Donna (^_^)

am I remembering right...this is for KT members who have passed on ?

I remember seeing it years ago..but haven't seen it for a long long time because I don't know how to find it. Was Bonnie Granny (or was it Granny Bonnie) the first chair?

patti

Yes, this is for those Kt'ers that have passed on.
I have Bonnie Granny in the first chair. I don't know what order they should be in but I know shes been gone for some time.

Pattico, it was Bonny Granny. She had such a gift at writing about simple things with such eloquence. Like weaving a spell whenever you read things she wrote about. I wish I had saved some of the posts.

joann_fla, this is such a nice thing you are doing. Thank you.

I found this Tribute page for Bonny Granny in case there is someone who wanted to learn a little bit more about her. I think CountryBumpkin may have put it together, but I'm not sure. There is her favorite quote, her favorite painting, the backstory of her grandson, Griff & even a poem that was written for her by jammaree (sp?)
This makes me so nostalgic.

I forgot to add, that if you read the Guest Book entries, there are so many names of current, former & late KTr's. Where have the years gone???

Thanks katclaws, I will make a link to that page.

Now that site is showing up blank.....hope it's fixable.

It's fine now, I was working on it that may be why. I've added some photos there. More to come if I can find them. If you have any please send them to me.

Call me dumb if you want...but about Baby Sage...Wasn't that the scam or was Baby Sage real? And if she was real...who's baby was she?

patti

Baby Sage was a real baby..a members grandchild if I am not mistaken..I remember opening the post titled Angel Sage and I knew before I even saw the words what it meant. Hopefully someone with a better memory will be able to fill in the blanks.

Joann, it takes my breath away when I view what you have done to honor the KT family members who have passed away - a HUGE thank you goes out to you, from my heart!

This is the first time I've seen the 'Kitchen Table' poem. Thank you so much. It's wonderful!

Part of if reminds me of the movie "Places In The Heart", where the townspeople bring home the body of the husband of the character played by Sally Field.

Th addition of the photos is wonderful Joann!! Great job all around!

I'm fairly new to this forum, but Joann, I think that you've done a wonderful tribute to folks who are no longer at the Kitchen Table.

Thanks so much for doing this. You've done a great job.

What about Dottie? Or did I miss seeing her chair?

JoAnn, you are so sweet for putting the empty chairs on your site. You are doing a wonderful job and I know everyone appreciates you.
Thank you for all your hard work.

re: Baby Sage.... My memory is fuzzy too. I believe she was a KTr's newborn granddaughter who had problems at birth. We were all praying so hard for this little one to survive. At one point I think it was her G-ma who finally was able to post a picture of her called "Lady in Pink".

The next time she posted the title of the post was "Angel in Pink". It was a post no one had to open, because we already knew what had been feared. It was like a punch to the heart that day.

There was a sad sort of debacle that I think is what pattico was referring to. Someone wanted to make a quilt in Baby Sage's memory to give to her greiving parents.

Many KT'rs made the squares then sent them off to the person who volunteered to put the quilt together. For whatever reason, that person never made the quilt & I don't think we ever heard from her again. Many people were very upset & hurt that it didn't get done.
