Yea, I know, JaG. I was attempting a joking sarcastic remark that may have not sounded as such...lol. I do have to think about what I want to do for next Spring/next years garden. I am only leasing the property, so taking down that humungous tree is not an option. My neighbors are nice, so I could continue (like I am doing now, except for in bad weather) to keep most of my plants in an arc of sorts a bit outside of the tree's shadow overhang, or whatever you want to call it. I don't think that's a good solution for next year though. It's working for this year. I don't want to put them in the front yard, for sure. I have some room on the side of the townhome where I currently have my mater plants, cuke bed & bean bed. I'm just worried about a few things if I decide on that location (which would be the best as it gets full sun almost all day). One worry is that people will see them & take the plants themselves or stuff off the plants. Another is that the lawnmoving people will shoot grass clippings all over them or cut the plants while cutting the grass. There are a few other small concerns about that area also. I have one other area that gets a good bit of sun (pretty much also full sun almost all day except for late late hours (past 6 about). That area has a few concerns also associated with it for a gardening space. It tends to get quite flooded during any slightly heavy rain, so if I picked it, all the plants would probably have to remain in containers. It's also close to where my trash bin is kept (cement slab where landlord requires that I keep the bin), so i'd have to think more about pests large & small and disease in that area. Along with a few other small concerns for this location. See my dilema? lol...maybe I should like draw it up in Photoshop or something, post the drawing & get everyone's opinion on here, kinda like a vote. Dunno...thoughts? - Steve

If you googled olecranon bursitis, then you know that there are several possible causes. Since this problem is six or more weeks old you can't be sure you did not have a bite or something causing a break in the skin allowing bacteria to enter the area. If that is the case then you need to go the the doctor to be sure as you can not get antibioticw OTC and you will need them to clear up any infection. In any case, the doctor will probably drain the bursa which will relieve the pain and also give him fluid to test for bacteria. In other words ... go to the doctor.

I had that about 8 years ago. I called the Nurse Practitioner's office. They called back and said that I should get an x-ray immediately. Then cross the hall to ortho. She gave me an injection and within 6 hours it was gone. Never happened again. She is high on my list of nice people.
