Another Picture of Curt

Those of you that are on his Facebook have probably seen this. His wife posted it a little while ago! Not only is he holding something to drink..not only is he smiling...but he's OUTSIDE!!!! I honestly expect him to be HOME SOON!! He recently told his wife he was ready to "get home and mow the grass"!!! lol

One thing I'm sure of....I can now say I have witnessed a true MIRACLE!!!

I dont know his story, but how wonderful he is getting better, and even more wonderful to get to be a part of a true miracle !

Lavon...Curts wife, Krystal has been doing my hair for about 5yrs. now, so I've grown pretty close to her,Curt and their kids. On April 28th Curt had gone to help a friend trim some limbs after a storm. He'd been there maybe 2 minutes, when a tree fell up against another tree and a limb fell from that tree and hit Curt. He was air lifted to our nearest trauma unit about 80miles from here. There they gave him ZERO chance of surviving. Later, when the Drs. realized his was going to survive, they told his wife he'd never improve past where he was right then...and that she needed to start looking into a facility to put him in! It's been an interesting and amazing 4 months to say the least. Everytime the Drs. gave the family "bad" news....Someone stepped in to remind them just Who was in charge! lol

Here is Curt's Facebook group that was set up. You'll have to "join" his group...but there you can see a lot of pictures of Curt, his wife and their 2 little children!!

I really love the orange and red ones in Curt's new intros! I just wish he would't give them such weird names. There's one I really, really like, but I won't order it because of the name. I have the same feelings about several of his older intros. By the way, Stealth Bomber is a stellar performer here. It's gone from two fans to 11 in three years. All of Curt's plants have done exceptionally well for me except Fad Gadget, which has very few buds here and doesn't multiply well. I'm going to move it this spring to see if it does better in another location. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my new Hansons from last fall bloom this year. Debra

Ah yes... Chris, I think this picture is the reason I really wanted BT. Today, I couldn't help myself, and I started ripping out MORE jasmine, so I could space my daylilies a little better myself. I found that my KO roses have increased in size TREMENDOUSLY and have totally crowded out the front row of daylilies I had placed. Besides, I also brought home BLUE CORN MOON, FRIEDA ALLEN JERRELL AND SEARCHING FOR BLUE (BONUS) when I visited Marietta's. And that is *in addition to* JAZZ AFTER FIVE and SWEET ISABELLA that I had her ship to me earlier. So much for not buying anymore! Geesh, no will power at all.

I'm in the midst of a massive to-do list I must complete, and I'm leaving early a.m. tomorrow for my region's summer meeting. (So why, you ask, am I on a daylily site? LOL) If you don't get the info you need by Sunday p.m., when I return, I'll give you contact info and/or link to an electronic version of the catalog and/or descriptions of plants and/or etc etc etc. In fact, I believe I have two copies of the 09 catalog here somewhere as well.

Teresa, you have some really pretty ones! Self Fulfilling Prophecies and Tigrillo Afternoon are my favorites. Such great colors! However, I like them all!
