oh, I deliberately didn't watch it last nite, as usually Tues nite is 2 hours, and the first hour is a repeat. However, I heard Tom whatever is name is say that some other show will be on tonite at 8, so I guess I don't see any of the dancing after all!

The dancers make the routines so that means Chelsea is to blame for that poor dance. It was not good at all.

I think that Situation guy is to full of himself.....He needs to be taken down a notch.......He did poorly and he critiques the judges???????????

I've been hearing different reports on what caused the booing.

Some of the performances weren't so great, but I applaud them all for trying. I couldn't imagine doing it.

I think Brandy needs an attitude adjustment also. She makes me think of Kate Gosslin of last season, thinking she knows more than the pro-dancer.

I too think Chelesa's routine was very degrading for M. Bolton...he can not dance but come on crawling out of a dog house with bone in mouth...think I would have refused...Mary

Funny how the boos were noticed at the dancer's backstage interview, and then next was Tom's introduction, and talk with Sarah Palin. As soon as I saw her, I was wondering if the boos were directed at her!?

I watched on Hulu last night. Wanted to see Jennifer Gray. I loved her dancing, but was disappointed to find her looking so different. I'd heard she'd had her nose done (and damaged her career in the process), but I hadn't expected to find her looking that different.

Some other comments:

When the judges gave decent marks to Bristol Palin, I wondered if we watched the same dance.

Yes, Brandy has quite the attitude.

I liked the football player.

I don't know who the chubby black guy is, but enjoyed his dance.

As someone who hasn't seen a lot of this show, I was surprised at the music. Some of the songs lacked the clearly defined beat that would have made dancing easier, it seemed to me. Do you know what I mean? The songs (mostly the quick-step songs, I think) seemed to skim the surface, zipping along without giving the dancers much of a rhythm to follow. I'm guessing this is common with the show, and no one seems to mind. But it struck me as odd.

Lily, the boos were NOT directed at Sara Palin.

They were at the judges for only giving Derek and Jennifer 3 8's when they did an oustanding dance and got a standing ovation.

The timing of the interview was bad, since the boos were quite vocal. Tom Bergeron was quick to point out that Sarah had nothing to do with the boos.

Yeah, poor Michael, was clearly uncomfortable and out of his element. The Situation guy should've gone. Brandy thought she had it wrapped up, but she's not that good plus with an attitude. . Jennifer Grey is great, but I agree I liked her pre- surgery looks better. Florence is fabulous at 76. Kudos to her. Palin is not good but will stay like Gosselin, who stunk ,did. She gave a 6 performance but the marks were probably because mom was planted in the first row.

I have to agree about Florence, she is AMAZING...and its just not fair to compare her to someone half her age. I like the show, but feel not much IS fair about any of it. Some already have dancing experience, and some have none, so how could they compare them to one another ?

Alisande. I know what you mean about the music not fitting the dance. I remember one season they had one couple dancing to.....(C)Rap!! How in the heck can any one be expected to dance to the stuff?
I have to quit surfing to other channels during commercials (which there are sooooo many) zI didn't get back to the show to see Bristal's dance, so can't comment on it, but if she isn't good, I wouldn't be surprised if she was kept around ratings like they did with K. Gosslin.

I have to disagree about Bristol. I thought her quick step was nice. Her movements are graceful and fluid, but she needs to work on getting into the character while dancing. Kate Gosselin was a horrible dancer on every level.

i agree with matti...........bristol was a delight to watch as she is learning to loosen up and learn to dance. she's had no prior training or experience and sure does better than many would. i hope her criticism isn't biased due to disliking her mother.......

From what I heard the booing was for the scores that Derek & Jennifer got. It was the timing that Sarah Palin was introduced as the booing started.

I'm rooting for Tony to win although I still love Louie!

I would hope not, too. In my case I don't like her mother, but I feel a little sorry for Bristol. She's actually doing considerably better than I thought she would (given that she said she's not much of a dancer), but I thought she made a poor showing compared to most of the others.

They all have my admiration for trying, though. It looks like a very tough thing to do. (And I'm someone who always loved to dance.)
