By the way, I already knew Petaloid was a sweety when she joined DH and I a few years ago at a taping of the Ellen Show.

Casey was a delight to spend the day with. Such a nice, mellow and oh so smart gal. Constantly testing my flora knowledge though. Much to her dissappointment I'm sure. LOL

And her camera ... !!! Wow, I took a photo of her with it and darn near didn't give it back!

I was so disappointed to hear from Moni that she and her riding friends are stopping about 50 miles north of us and heading home. It works out good for Petaloid though because she lives in the area that Moni is stopping.

I've just returned from out of town for a couple days so am playing catch up with this post.

Oh my Janene, what a very sweet thing to say.

Nita, I know 50 miles is not a big deal to most people but unfortunately I took off two days last week, one to spend time with Casey and one to go out of town for my DH's birthday on Friday. As such, I can't take off any more days at work next week. Plus ... and this is a huge deal for me ... I don't drive freeways, so DH would have to take time off as well. If we had a backyard to pitch a couple of tents, I'd try to convince them to come down to OC and leave for home from our airport. But our backyard is currently undergoing major remodel and there's not an inch of level ground out there. :-(
