Wish I did! I love playing games. I used to love playing bridge. Loved Canasta years ago. Now I am on the internet with games a lot, but I really miss having a group to meet with. You are be admired, Glenda, for having the get up and go attitude!

I hadn't played bridge for over 25 years when a friend approached me to say they needed someone for their little group of eight that met weekly, had lunch and played bridge. Since joining that group I've found several others that enjoy playing. They're all friendly, fun people, who don't go for the seriousness of duplicate bridge. However most all are older than I (I'm 78) and quite few are older by 15 years or so!

So that one little group can be a bit exasperating at times, when the foibles of the age of some of the gals become evident. Yes, it's frequently like a comedy sketch - "Who's on first?" But we all have a great time and don't take ourselves too seriously.

Too bad that bridge isn't as popular among the college kids these days as it was years ago. Can't find anyone to play with that under retirement age.

It's a great idea! I'm in a Scrabble group that meets once a week at the library.

A few times a year I get together with a different bunch of friends for rowdier games. Always fun!

I played bridge all thru college and many years afterwards in bridge clubs.

Haven't played bridge in so long a time, I would not even know how to bid now.

Just finished Mexican train. We played for 3 1/2 hrs as one gal had an early dental appointment.

I play bridge three Mondays of the month, two Tuesdays of the month and Mexican train twice a monthâ¦â¦they're all different groups of people. This month it's my turn to have Monday bridge and this particular group plays at 9:30 and then the hostess serves lunch. Usually 3 tables of duplicate but this month we only have 8 players so I won't even have to put a leaf in the dining room tableâ¦YEAH!

In between, I play 18 holes of golf 3 days a weekâ¦â¦.77 and going strong!!

I wish I had a group that would get together regularly to play cards!!! I grew up in a "game playing" family, but everyone who was an avid game-player is gone -- one way or another. Our family-favorite card game was pinochle.

My BF and I play golf together almost every day we can. We have another friend who will always play darts with us, if possible, but we only do that in the bad-weather months. Can't seem to make up a foursome whether it's darts or golf though. :p

I've never learned to play card games, but I do like Scrabble. I should see if there's a group that plays casually in my area.

bengardening, I play those addicting Facebook games. Right now I am hung up on Cookie Jam. It takes many tries to finish one, but I will not give them any money for help. Sometimes I nod off while I'm clicking away!

Oh man I would love to be in a card club. When we do play, we play double pinochle. I'm jealous of you ladies!!

I would also love to have access to water aerobics that you do Glenda.
