Spin off of Senior Love

In our Senior club is a couple, who dated in high school, but lost contact after school. They both married, and she moved out of state with her husband and raised a family, while he stayed here and raised his family. After many years they both lost their spouses and she moved back here to her home town to be near her daughter. They met up again at our senior club and dated for a couple years. They were known as beautiful dancers and went to all of the local dances. Last year between Christmas and New Years they married. He was 88 and she was 87 at the time. One sad thing, as she was getting dressed for he wedding, she fell, and didn't realize she had cracked a rib. They went on with the wedding even though she was hurting and they even went on a honeymoon, but had to cut it short to come home to see why she was in pain. She healed up in a few months and they were soon back at every local dance. I love to see them when they come to the meetings, they are always holding hands and helping each other. I guess I'm an old sentimentalist, because this love story chokes me up. I truly hope they can have many years together.
