Orange is The New Black!

Are you getting streaming videos or DVDs by mail? Or both? I am disappointed that you cannot stream newer movies, although there are plenty of old ones I have not seen.

I agree, Orange is the new Black, McLeods Daughters. Both series are wonderful.

We recently got an Apple TV and subscribed to Netflix. We are enjoying watching old series that we had missed.

I love the British stuff. Doc Martin, Foyle's War, Vera and many more. TV series that you never watched: Bluebloods, Castle, Suits, Parenthood.

Pam, have you actually watched Bluebloods? I did a search for it a couple of weeks ago but nothing turned up.

I watched all 7 seasons of West Wing last winter...took me awhile but it was fun!!

we watched all of Fringe on Netflix. So much easier than having to wait a week to watch the next episode, then you get lost and don't know what's going on. Also, NO COMMERCIALS!!!!

Walking Dead is great to watch on Netflix for the same reason.

I tried Orange is the new Black, but didn't care for it at all.

Just heard new episodes of Once Upon a Time are available...I'll probably watch some more of that.

wanttoretire-I have only watched Bluebloods on TV. I guess I just assumed it would be available! By the way, I am retired and I love not going to a job.

I was thinking about asking my son for a subscription to NetFlix. However, my computer is playing choppy videos lately and the sound is not in sync.

What does it take to watch Nexflix on your TV?

Netflix is fantastic! I pay 7.99 for streaming and 2 mailed videos a month (getting Homeland). We can stream to two devices at once, so my son streams at his house in another state on my account. How great is that?

For us, my son got me an Apple TV box and set it up. Not sure I could have done it myself, big maybe on that. He does everything so quickly and without explanation, so I'm really not sure how savvy a person has to be to set it up.

Even though you cannot stream everything, there is plenty to watch with all the old and newer movies, kids' stuff, documentaries. Right now I'm plowing through Breaking Bad.

My sister doesn't want Netflix, she wants to get a Tivo so she can "tape" her programs and watch them at her convenience, so that's another way people can go if they want to expand the way they watch TV.

With all the new shows coming out and watching Netflix, I have a lot of TV to watch.

You can also watch Netflix movies on a Tivo unit.

Firefly!

That's a good one to watch back to back. It was only one season, but a really good show. Then watch the movie Serenity where it ties up loose ends.

You can stream Netflix, Amazon, etc with a Roku box and a wi-fi Internet connection. You can buy a Roku unit online and very easy to setup.

I didn't know you could watch Netflix on Tivo!

rabbit tv is like netflix but it goes in your ussb port of your computer u buy it at wal mart for 10.00 and its good for the whole year unless u want to buy ppv movies and shows.....
its awesome it has games tv shows, and movies & radio stations i love mine and soon it will work on tablets

Rabbit TV is nothing at all like Netflix, "it" simply redirects you to free content that's available and open for anyone on the internet. Here's a review from the San Francisco newspaper website (SF Gate):

We also watched the entire West Wing and just started the second season of Heartland. Good story and gorgeous scenery and horses. Waiting for House of Cards second season........ Should save some of these for winter weather!!

We're waiting for House of Cards, too. What a dark, fascinating story line. We loved Breaking Bad so much that we're talking about watching it again. ALREADY! Couldn't get into Orange ITNB.

I watch netflix through my DVD player, it's internet smart or something.

I watched two documentaries this weekend. One was Vegen the other was about juicing for 60 days. Both interesting.

If HBO's The Newsroom is on there, best thing on tv.
