I got my package laurastheme! You packed some really neat things. I LOVE the little scale.....my DH uses one just like that but much bigger to weigh his fish. The bigger ones were once used to weigh cotton that had been fresh picked from the fields. Not sure what these little ones were used for. I will have to hide it or they will get off with it for their fish! The blue and green bowl was soooo pretty....and I hate to report but what WAS a lovely plate flower and is no longer quite as lovely. The big plate was in many pieces and the PVC had come off but the small plate, bowl and marble are intact so I can fix that by replaceing the plate. I think my favorite was your unique card with the adorable pic and you, mother and brothers! as well as your book. That was so special and I feel so honored that you chose to share your writings with me. I liked everything in my box and I will post pics soon, for now just wanted to let you know I am one happy recipient!!!! :))

Hi kathy, sorry for my delay in my response, I have been so over whelmed with excitement with all the stuff I've received I told my wife I don't know where to start or finish. She told me just start at one corner and go around the yard. Lol.. I am really excited tho I've gone to H/D to get soil,.perlite and now I can start filling pots and making more cacti & succulent projects :) Kathy so this greyish colored plant, is it easily propagated by cuttings the and what are the watering trixs? & does it like full sun or bright light? And thank you for your experience too, its much appreciated. Rosemarie, thanks again as always, your help with the plants names is invaluable. This last picture is a nice wheel barrel pot carrier that also was part of the load, of can't wait to get all settled in there is just so many pots and other goodies I haven't even posted half of um. Robin, I am so sorry about your Dad and Julian, hope they are both better. Sounds like you have not had a very good day. When I tore into my package the first thing I saw was the colander, it is beautiful and will sit on my counter until needed and I will use it. You couldn't know how many times I have thought about ordering the ramekins, those are just perfect gifts for me! I love the microplane, just makes the one I bought look like, well what it is, a hand held grater. You know how much I will use the ladle, I am really excited about it, how handy and canning season is getting close! I said I would let DH claim the strawberry jam, well it is already almost gone, it is so good. I don't make strawberry jam, strawberries don't grow to well here. Vermont Maple grade B syrup, if you haven't tried it then you don't know what you are missing. I don't think I have ever tasted anything like it. I thought I had bought Vermont maple syrup, but it didn't taste anything like this. It is wonderful, I think I could drink it out of the can. Thank you again, Robin!

Gosh, thanks for all the compliments and kind words, ladies! I've had a lot of fun making these faeries and their little houses, but along with all of you, I do hope they are appreciated. Kathi, that is twill tape around the openings, hot glued in place and wrapped around the cut edge. I just happened to have about 7 spools of it in different bright colors. Leslie, someone told me there are Christmas cactuses and there are Thanksgiving Cactuses- I seem to have a post-Halloween/Early Thanksgiving cactus! lol This is the one that our cats nearly destroyed a few years ago when they were kittens and wanted to play in it! lol Janie, Stewie couldn't be much worse than these monsters! lol I had nightmares of popped balloons with gooshy string struck to furry cats. Thankfully, that didn't happen. Kat? Kat who??? lol Minnie- that would have been a great idea. I just finished one yesterday named Poinsetta. It's not a great photo, but you can see most of her here. I still haven't gotten any cards, can't find any I like. Thanks again, everyone!
