The funny thing is that I was out to do my SS duty and buy food to donated in Eddie's name and when I came back home the package my SS Eddie sent was at the door. What about this? Coincidence or what?

Eddie, I want to thank you one more time. You made me happy two times yesterday. First when I went to buy the food and donate it. Yes, I donate more than you asked but was such a wonderful wish that I wanted to be indeed Santa Claus and make more people happy. Second was when I received my package with all this wonderful cuttings and seeds.
You are such a selfless guy and an inspiration to us all.

Caren, everything was working out very well for me and Eddie. We both got what we wished for and more!! Somebody up there arranged everything.

I had 3 parakeets but one (the mother)died 1 month ago. Now I have the father(yellow) and his daughter who is almost 3 month old. I have an Amazon Parrot too.

Thanks for organizing SS. It was fun.

Whoo hoo, Santa Caren came to my house today. She sent brug cuttings, sticky note pads with my name on them and holder for them, miracle gro, dichondra seeds and plant labels.

I just want to thank Brandy (jumpin4joy) for the secret santa package that I received today! Cocoa, Berries room diffuser, plant labels, a red sharpie- (man -my most valuable tool right now!) 4 packs of flower seeds, a few succulents- and beautiful note paper- which I always need!)- It was very sweet of you to include a Kong and a Daydreams brug cutting! Eloise! Thank you so much for the Secret Santa gift!! You were far too generous! I did receive it on Wed, and I do apologize for not getting on here sooner to post that it arrived. With the holiday and all things were just so hectic. The canna is just beautiful! The bank of my pond will be perfect for it, as it will only get a little morning sun and then be shaded by a large pine tree. The brug cuttings are always appreciated, especially after losing so many this year in our blistering summer heat. Thank you, again!! I'll try to get a photo posted once everything is potted up!

For some very wierd reason, the secret santa package I sent over a week ago made its way back to my place. I took it back down to the post office and they explained that the machine probably mistakenly read the "FROM" address instead of the "TO" address. Very bizzare. I've never had this happen before. Anyway, sorry for the delay that caused. If all goes well, my ss recipient should be getting the box early next week.

You're very welcome April! I knew you liked sedums so i took the liberty to introduce you to the "wild world of succulents"!! lol. I found out that the unknown succulent is actually Sedum Praealtum (A shrubby Sedum from Mexico), and the unknown crassula is a dwarf form of Crassula Argentea. Some nurseries have it listed at Crassula Argentea "Hobbit"

Did the Pork & Beans Sedum arrive safely? How about the Shrimp plant? I remember mine was very easy to root when I first got it. My plant in the ground roots wherever the stems touch the ground. The Aloe should produce tons of little pups. They form dense colonies and look great in pots.

Oh my goddness sorry it has taken me so long. I got my secret santa Saturday and it was just to good to be true. Oven mit, kitchen towel candy tree with sosososo many candies on it I had to beat my kids away with a stick lolol. Cuttings of wonderful brugs and awesome seeds I cant wait to start, 2 of those flower pouches in and hang Wonderful!!! A ceramic bread dish gourmet coffees, labels, a cute metal animal yard monster lolol, a night light with gilter and water to make it move. I love it all Thank you so much April, dirt_under_my_nails! I appreciate it sososo much you gave me a wonderful card to that I will keep on my fireplace mantel.
