Ok, I get to be first on the second "150"...whoppee!

My doorbell just rang and what did appear ...
a crudy white van but no reindeer.
A look of surprise came across my face
As a snow-covered fella' bounced up the stairs in a haste!

I thought this ol' guy must be a wizard...
Cause he's driving around in this Iowa blizzard!
I thanked him and said, "drive careful today"
He groaned and smiled and went on his way.

So now a Santa package is under my tree
And I am so happy, oh golly, oh gee!
From Illinois over, it came on a flight
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!

Im with you Laurasatheme, I havent heard if my gift arrived yet either and I sent it over 2 weeks ago. I also haven't received anything and I've been really good I swear.

Sorry Ive been late with my pic, my computer was acting up like crazy at work, then I brought my camera home and tried to download photos to photobucket here and then this computer started acting up, too!! Thank goodness, son is a computer genius, (I HOPE thats why we are paying the big bucks for college right now!)So, here goes, a few weeks late. Here I am with my secret santa package from my okie buddy in Watts, Oklahoma!!!! I did take some time to research my GJ buddies to find out who it is, I might have it figured out, but not quite sure yet!! It is very exciting though, cant wait to open it up!!!!!

Oh, yeah please excuse the mess and cords in background, we were getting things up and ready for Christmas at the time!Oh, and the light switch with the chipped up paint we had to replace a switch this summer and never painted it back in, GEE WHIZ! Why does everything bad show up so much more when you post a picture!!!LOL!! Oh well, I am NOT painting this until after Christmas!!!

Well...I haven't opened MY Secret Santa gifts yet, but one gift HAS been opened!

Karen is my Secret Santa!! She included a gift for "Mr. Grumpy" (my DH) with a note saying it was a decoration and he could open it anytime. He opened it the other day, after we finally got the tree decorated. He is an avid Ohio State football fan and LOVES his gift!!

DH has named his new nutcracker Archie after Archie Griffin!! LOL

Isn't he cute? Karen painted him! Now, I can hardly wait to open my gifts on Christmas Day!!

I've been watching too, no gift as of yet, but 3 days to go. The snow here has been horrific, we received 12 plus inches Friday, 3 on Saturday and more to come. I'll be ready for some warm weather come January. Hopefully my family will agree to a warm vacation spot, I'm sure we;ll need it by then.

My SS recipient has never posted that she got my gift. Since she doesn't post often, I'm gonna hope and pray that all is well. I sent it Dec 6th, Priority Mail. Should be there. I sure hope she lets us know soon! 2 days til Christmas!

Don't despair if you haven't received your Secret Santa gift yet. I hear the weather across our country is slowing down the postal service. Remember to post when you receive your gift...or post a picture of your gift when you open it on the thread about posting a picture of your SS gift.

If you haven't received your gift by Dec. 31st, let me know. I'll put out an all call for people who could send out a gift to those people.

It's fun seeing and hearing the Secret Santa Exchange coming to a climax! I can't wait to open my gift on Christmas Day!!!!! Carol has hid it from me...I've searched the house for it! She knows I'm snoopy!

I have to admit something....OH I hate to tell but....I did open my box,BUT I didn't open the gift. But I did look to see who it was from...BUT I won't tell yet...SORRY, but it was calling, YOU HOO, COME ON OPEN ME....OH i'm so ashamed......NOT!!!

Only 1 hour to go before Christmas eve service and the doorbell rang. WHOO HOO the mail lady arrived with a package from Cincinatti. I will post photos tomorrow. Thank You Secret Santa from snowy Buffalo.

I've been wondering what happened to the gift I sent. Found out today when it was returned to me for insufficient postage. The clerk at the PO determined how much postage to charge. Also when it came back to me there was no mailing label on it, which was taped on when I mailed it. How else would the clerk know how much to charge for postage, and with no return address how would anyone know who to send it back to? Very strange!!

Just finishing up last minute stuff before Christmas,had to stop in and see if anyone had posted yet. This has been such a blast, even before most of us opened presents!!

Just a few more hours to go for me, its almost time to open that brown box that is staring at me right now!!!
CAN'T WAIT!!!!! And now I have figured out who it is!! But, I wont tell until in the morning!!!

Snickerdoodle aka Micki is my Secret Santa! What a Santa she is!!! I received a wonderful hand painted Santa on a board & a lovely etched glass windchimes with beads & some of glass is iridescent. Will soon be hanging on by patio!! Also a bird for potpourri!! It's cream with greens, looks good in my house!! Thank you Micki for all the lovely gifts! I'll remember you always!! Jan

Merry Christmas Jan...aka SunnyCa...and everyone else. I am so glad that all of your SS presents got there without getting broke. I was a little worried. I work for the PO and know how they get tossed around. I am glad that you liked everything. I had fun coming up with things that I thought you would enjoy and could use in your garden. I opened my SS gift this morning and will post pics after my kids get home. I need them to man the camera.

I got a great haul from my SS aka Halley_Rose aka Deb! I love it all. Since I collect cats and birdhouses, I got an adorable plush cat who looks right at home in the little wicker chair I had in my chair collection, a porcelain mama cat with two kitties, a very pretty jar painted green with star-shaped sunflowers (love storage containers!), a pretty little birdhouse and the gift I coveted the first time I saw her post a picture of it ... the green bottle cat! Thank you, Deb for making this a wonderful Christmas!

The recipient of my gift didn't get it. I've emailed her and also posted a message here, but no response yet...so...midnitecrafter, If you're out there I hope you'll see this. I sent the gift on Dec. 6 and it was returned to me LATE Decneber 24 for insufficient postage. The clerk at the PO was the one who weighed it and took my money. How could this happen?? Anyway, I'm going to resend it today. So sorry this happened.
