A break from my Montana pictures. A VW out in the middle of the desert, by Boulder City, Nevada. I think it looks so forlorn.

Having coffee in the early 1940s. My mother (in the center) looks like she's ready to go home.

I love looking at everyone's pictures! The blue bug looks just like one I had! That's soooo sad!

Debbie, your mom looks like a movie star! Or "starlet," as they used to say in the fifties. She's so pretty! And her face looks symmetrical, which you don't see too often. Do you look like her?

There seems to be a Mom theme here today. This is my Mom. I'm guessing that it was taken in the late 20's or early 30s. Sorry it's so big. I'm using Tiny Pic and the last couple of pics from there have come out like this.

Can't compete with the great pictures today, but here is an orb weaver.

I took my Mother to the Kemah Boardwalk for Mother's Day 2005, before she became ill. She use to collect "Roosters" and she loved the Carousel there. Most of Kemah was closed but we enjoyed the walk and ate out.

It looks like a day for old pictures.
This was taken in the late 1940's. My paternal Grandpa and Grandma and their 3 sons. That's my dad next to Grandma.
Gustav, Martha, Leslie, Edmund, and Otto. Can you tell they're German?

I love all the old photos. I have been cleaning out my Mother's house and have found so many old photos like this. I hope I can find some time to scan some of them soon so I can share them with you.
