~ Just for the winter. Someplace warm. My parents' old hometown in Florida.

What is the most random thing you keep doing?
~ Since the dictionary defines random as "lacking any definite plan or order," I would say all of my housekeeping is random. Peg Bracken wrote a book with that title once, I think, or something close to it.

What did you do last night?
~ I listened to Sarah Palin deliver a speech Matthew Scully wrote for her.

What is the most annoying thing that someone has said to you?
~ A young surgeon upon learning that I was a stay-at-home mom: "Oh. I thought you were intelligent."

What did you do lastnight? Went out to dinner.

What is the most annoying thing that someone has said to you? "So, seeing as you don't work anymore, how does
it seem to sit around and do nothing?"

Would you ever want to live in a different state? Yes - but probably never will. 2/3 of our kids are here.

What is the most annoying thing that someone has said to you? My exSIL - I was trying to do nice things for HER kid while she was verbally bashing MINE! (I didn't say anything. When I get around them I get as crazy as they are! LOL)

Sometimes it would be nice to live where it is warm but I would miss the change of seasons here in IL.

"I find that highly distasteful". I was wearing a union button and a coworker didn't like it.

Would you ever want to live in a different state? I'd like to have a vacation home in another state and live there a month or so out of the year.

** Sure. I have lived in 4 states. I would most like to go back to Florida; besides DH and the kids, the people I care about most live in Florida and I would like to be with them. This country is too big for me to spend my whole life in the same place, I'll go anywhere.

What is the most random thing you keep doing?
** Put my keys down in different places then looking madly for them later when I need to go somewhere! I have actually shouted to the kids "A dollar to the one who brings me my keys!"

What did you do lastnight?
** Made dinner, homework with the kids, took a bath and read, watched the Sarah Palin speech, and discussed it with DH. Which all made me go to bed tired and satisfied with my evening of varied activities.

What is the most annoying thing that someone has said to you?
** Ooooh! A guy who said that people who send their kids to public school instead of private "shouldn't complain they are getting tuna fish instead of caviar." Arrogant SOB, he was! Anyone who undermines public schools is on my poop list, but that was WAY over the line!
