Going for my massage after while, haven't seen my cute biker/massage guy in several weeks! It rained finally, been sitting on the porch enjoying it.

I am tied to the house waiting for a delivery and instructions on a apparatus that I am to wear tonight to test my blood gases. Pulse oximetry I think it is called. We have had need to use this company before and it has been our experience that they won't show up till late afternoon. So the whole day will likely be a waste, cause I don't want to be in the middle of something when he shows up. I have some reading to carch up on, so I guess it won't be so bad.

Watching this stupid weather! My county has 6 weather warnings in red listed! We are in a severe tstorm warning right now! Good gosh its March and we have LOTS of snow on the ground!! About 4 am this morning, we had a storm roll thru with thunder and lightening and rain and pea to marble size hail! Unreal. Now they are saying this next storm has an excess of 60mph winds with the rain! ick ick ick! Torrential rain will flood roads and ditches. Here is the warnings: Flood Warning Flood Watch Hazardous Weather Outlook Severe Thunderstorm Warning Severe Weather Statement Wind Advisory I ran to the store earlier and out to check on rainboots that 4 year old Drew wants badly.None here. I found some online and am waiting for DD to email me and let me know if I should order them. I'm done going out for the day and I am staying in til tomorrow! LOL Going to crochet some more on this blanket. Bought stuff for the Fruit Magic cake someone posted her long ago. Its about perfect for DH and I. Trying to figure out supper,I am thinking Rueben sandwiches on the griddle. Or potato soup. or chicken fried chicken! LOL Who knows what we will end up with. Heck its 1 pm and we have all the lights on in the house, it may be a good day to catch a Sunday nap too!

Well, at this point, the day's half over So far, we were up early, had breakfast. I hemmed a tablecloth while DH puttered with something out back or in the garage. Then we headed out to Walgreens because we had a good coupon ($5 off $20), then to a couple of garden centers. Came home, planted the forscythia bush we bought, met some of the neighbors, moved some bulbs, made and ate lunch, tilled part of the vegetable garden, planted Vidalia onions, lettuce, spinach, cabbage. Hemmed another tablecloth. Straightened up a bit. DH just popped his head in and needs me to come outside and show him what plants I want to dig up to take back to the other house. Need to pack up here, and close the place up, then we'll be heading home, planting those bushes there. And, with any luck, will be going out for dinner (and maybe we'll pop in to visit Aunt in the care facility). Not sure what I'll do this evening--haven't gotten that far yet.

dh & i went to walt disney world's epcot park for the Flower Show from 9am-3pm. beautiful day, far fewer tourists (YEAH!!!!) than normal and the severe storms held off long enough for us to get in & out of there and hit publix on the way home too. the flower show was nothing to brag about except for their nice topiary frames, i wanted to see cool unusual new plants but mostly i saw the plants we grew and shipped to disney from where i work lol. one other nice thing was that a new toll road opened recently that makes getting down to disney from winter park only 30 minutes now. nice day, glad i have a day to relax before work thou lol~ liz

I broke down and did laundry this morning. Our w/d are in the garage and it heats it up so danged bad I've been putting it off. So now everything's clean and put away. Yesterday at Wal-Mart I got Magic Erasers since they had such good reviews here. Wow! Now I know why. I cleaned everything I could think of with just one swipe. Those things really are magic!! It took no effort whatsoever to clean the cabinet fronts and the outside of all the appliances. They are my new favorite thing! Then I started cleaning the garage floor. It's painted and it was really bad. I only got the top coat of dirt off, but I was just using water, no cleaner. It looks a little better anyway. Had to use a stiff-bristle brush so I quit when I got too hot. I took about a 15 minute "power nap" and I'm going to stick a pot roast in the oven soon for dinner, peel some potatoes and carrots to cook with it and quit for the day.

We need to go visit, or check on, or whatever you do with someone in Hospice. I guess just sit with her, actually. I'm going to DD#2s tomorrow and am stopping on the way in Canton, TX. to visit a friend there, so I need to get ready for that. I desperaely need a hair cut, so I'll run down to Pro-cuts and get a "trim." DH is probably going to want to go to the boats later this afternoon. If so, we'll have supper there. I've already fed DGS#2 and sent him on his way to school. Need to make some phone calls and I have a new library book, and I think I'll just sit with a cup of coffee and watch the rain for a while!!

Happy Birthday Samkaren...

I am going to do some laundry. I'm waiting for a friend to call who wants to go to Sam's Club. She doesn't have a card, but I don't know why not.

Other than that I'm going to make meatloaf and work in the flowerbed.
