Good Morning Everyone. I am dressed and waiting to go grocery shopping with Amber, Alyssa and Cheryl this morning. Izzi and I drove out back after I got all ready and she scared up two big white tail deer. She saw them before I did and she jumped off my big rig while it was still cruising along. She chased them into the old hay field behind our property and stopped. They had been grazing in the grassy area west of my garden. The deer never bother my garden, but the old raccoons really do! After I came back in the house, I put on a boneless pork loin, carrots, onions, peppers, and potatoes in my crock pot. That will be supper. It is perfect weather for me this morning, 56 out and I love it. How is your morning going and how is your weather? Have a wonderful day!

It's a bit cloudy here this morning, and 51ÃÂº. We are starting our new quilting year at church this morning...lots of work ahead of us, as we have been given a lot of fabric to work with. We also have a frost prediction for Thursday night, which isn't welcome, of course.....will have to cover the peppers and tomatoes, at least.

Good morning Sue. Just lazing around here. I will be getting dressed shortly to go play golf with 12 lady friends and then we're going out to dinner. It's a tough life, but someone has to do it! Hope you have a great day.

Mike I love tall guys roflmao. I wonder what they see way up there?? Glad you are still bored. Well...wish you weren't but it is to our advantage :-) First year growing MG trees and I just love them! Funny thou on how different they also grow depending on where they are located at. In the ground or pots...all day sun or more shade. Lucy

I only have experience with Heavenly Blue MG's and they did not do well in a pot. They did indeed insist on climbing and then I think they just ran out of root space because they suddenly stopped growing and flowering.

I mowed - again - today, I had just mowed last Thursday but the grass was so high already. Normally I don't like a "sheared" lawn, but I set the deck too low on my mower and didn't realize it. Since it would look weird to do the rest on a higher setting I continued. Golf course like lawns make me uncomfortable! lol Besides all the little wild flowers got their heads chopped off. Maybe I won't have to mow for awhile now though it being so short. There are so many violets and other wild flowers in the orchard that I have a hard time mowing them, so I leave small patches here and there. The ground itself is still very damp. Sometimes when I sit on a chair at my small table down there, a chair leg or two will sink right into the soil sending me backwards. I've learned to be quick to jump off! I think I will plant ever bearing strawberries in my mailbox cover this year just for something different. They will have a white bloom and hopefully have berries most of the summer. At least that's what I envision, will see if it works out.

Update on the day: The living room is so clean. The floor looks fantastic, the furniture is polished, fabrics are washed, cords are corralled. I’m even up to date on the Murdaugh trial, having listened to the Netflix doc at the same time. The poor kitty ventured out once the vacuuming stopped. I haven’t done much in there ever since DH moved his office home…noise, bustle, commentary, meals, etc. But now it looks so good, the dining room next door to it wants a spa day, too! For now, I’m going to collapse in a clean chair with a glass of wine and watch something entertaining.

I'm up early this morning...thinking about the list of things we have to do before we head north for the Oregon Winnebago Rally. RV has been in the driveway beside the house all summer (except for 2 days) so there is much prep that needs to be done. We have stayed home all summer because of the uncertainty of our family situation and all has been ok until our one outing. But, we are going anyway, so prepare we must. Very chilly nights; almost below 50 I think and going up to 93 today with clear and smoke free skies. Love this weather.

Also have many tonatoes and peaches that have come from our garden (and the usual berries) that need to be taken care of today. Anne's salsa recipe was on the Cooking Forum...think I might try that. Like Sue, those ladies know how to CAN.

Headed to water aerobics. The heat is ON, yea!!!! As of last night! The water heaters, that is!

Beautiful day, 73 at 9:00 and sunshine!

It's a beautiful day out as it has been for the last several days and that is also the forecast for the next few. I'm off to get my hair cut (and de-greyed) and then to buy new trail running shoes. Tonight I have my core class which is a real toughie but it's a good one.

I got my car serviced first thing this morning. A friend and I are driving to St. Louis next week for a doctor's appointment. I picked up a Bob The Builder DVD for Finn. His daddy brought him over to spend most of the day with me. After lunch I rocked him to sleep. He is so precious and cute!
It is overcast here and 78 degrees.
