Return some overpriced items to BB&B (found them much cheaper somewhere else).
Relax and listen to an audio book with DH while he does the driving (for a 3 hour drive).

Go shopping for fall palnts at a couple of nurseries with a friend

Go out for lunch

Enjoy a movie and a glass of wine this evening with DH

Take Mom to pick up her new glasses this morning

Drive her on over to Altell to load minutes on her cell phone

Both of us continue on to a downtown Fall festival

Take a bag of clothing to Goodwills and then look around inside Goodwills.

Go to Skopko and see if they have their extra long hangers on sale.

Go to the grocery store.

'harvest' some of the zoysia creeping over my driveway and move it to bare spots of the lawn.

Water the plants to use up some of the rain in the barrels--we're getting more later in the day, need to make room for it.

Hubby and I going to the beach this morning. Picking up bits and pieces for crafts there. Stopping by nurseries on the way home to check out fall plants. Playing dominoes with girlfriends this evening. Altogether an enjoyable day!

3. Basically take it easy, do some reading and play Angry Birds.

All this while waiting for my son's daughter to be born any day now. I hope she holds off until we get back. What a quandary! I don't want to miss either event.

Once a month I take a totally personal day and do this. I stay in my robe even after showering and just lounge, it's fabulous.

we've been in this house too long. Repairs have appeared. Had anti-ice-dam sheets put on roof and new shingles last year. The water softner is next. It was built over the winter of 1975-75 and we took posession summer of 1976. We;ve been here ever since.

I've done them already....made pea salad, bathed two of the three dogs, and made a cup of tea in my magic teapot. (I don't usually drink hot tea...but I have a ritual I do when I am kind of down....so did that today).

Three of the many things I had planned to do today:

Help DD clean house.

Bring her laundry home so I can wash, dry and fold it and take it back to her on Sunday. (She lives two hours away.)
She has a two year old, works as an attorney full-time and is teaching a college course. I try to help her whenever I can.

Stop by Bed, Bath & Beyond and buy a new spatula.

Did all three of those today and a whole lot more!

Guess I should have added "kill this thread!" LOL

Today I plan to:

paint a shelf white and then distress it
finish the laundry
go to the flea market and put a few small things in my booth

Finish about a dozen trip files (trips from now until the end of the year)

Listen to more DCI stuff on YouTube

Have dinner with my son who is turning 13 next week. Aw not a baby anymore!

Deliver a bunch of tomatoes to son's companion's house ... which I was supposed to do yesterday, but (within about 10 min.) forgot.

Deliver veggies to a social agency.

Do some print at library.

Stake/string tomato plants.
