I use the beef and chicken base in a jar. Much tastier IMO

I bought some within the past month at Publix. I bought the granules.

I am a cook in a restaurant and one of the waitresses was just telling me she couldnt find it either at Walmart. I bought one of the big jars of chicken base from the restaurant I work at so I havent looked for one.

bulldinkie, I found it at Walmart. Let me know if you want me to pick you up a bottle of each..beef and chicken.

They have a website, wylers.com and maybe you could email them and ask or if they have an 800 number you could just call them and see who in your area has it. I've done this before with other companies and get replies that were very helpful.

I've been noticing lately that Walmart does NOT have the select they once had and I'm having better luck at the non-chain type grocery stores at finding name brands that I can't find at Walmart anymore. Personally I'm finding that Walmart is just getting more and more lame and more and more expensive. It used to be my absolute favorite store but really is not anymore and actually I seldom ever shop there anymore...sad really!

I bought some last week at our grocery store. Got BEEF CUBES.

Since I have found "Better than boullion" at the stores I have given up on the powdered stuff. I get the bigger jar at Costco for the same amount as the small jar at reg grocery stores. Usually about 4 to 6 bucks a jar.. LASTS long time. I get the lower sodium one. It is a thick paste like stuff... really tasty and a little bit goes a long way. When I micro my frozen veggies, I put a 1/4 to 1/2 tsp in the pot with my veggies and they are perfectly seasoned. Nothing else but a dash of water needed.

I did contact them they didnt want to be bothered..

If you want to buy a case, Amazon sells it.

Get a jar of "soup Base" preferably, salt free soup base.

It comes in a pint jar and 1/2Tsp is equal to one boulian cube.

Soup base comes in Beef, Chicken, pork & ham flavors

If you can't find it in your grocery go to a real meat market or a restaruant supply...

Ask any real chef and they will tell you that soup base is the preferred product,,,easier to use, tastes great and is cheaper.

I use it to make small quantities of gravy for just Jan and I...begin with one cup of boiling water, add 1tsp of soup base, stir & reduce heat, then mix 1tbsp of cornstarch in cold water, slowly pour in and wisk briskly,,you will have perfect gravy in about 1 minute after the water boils.

I also use the soup starter in any recipee that calls for chicken or beef stock...Just mix the soup base into the desired amount of water and you will have a perfect stock.

Not if you get sodium free.

I recently found the Wylers beef and chicken cubes at the Dollar Store and picked up some of both.
