We are staying at the Hospice Care Center right now. They are keeping him comfortable. Its a beautiful & caring facility. Keep the prayers coming, I am not ready to be alone.

Many thanks from me also. I used it on just a medium sized Hosta, and it made moving it a breeze. And then I used the tape on some day lilies and a large Ladies Mantle. I will never be without tape in my garden again!!!! Best tip I've learned in a long time. The only tape I had in the house was the blue painters tape which held well but I don't think it will deteriorate on it's own--we'll see. Mary

North53, I don't post here a lot, but I do stop by often. I've used Roundup on areas in my garden. Thing is, we seldom have 'calm days' when I have the time to spray. So I use paint brushes. On large areas, like new beds, I use one of those roller brushes...the kind that has the long handle. I have several different sizes of brushes so I can even get the small weeds in my gardens. I don't have to worry about it getting on my good plants. On the bottle it'll tell you how long to wait before planting perennials and veggies. I don't buy the ready made bottles, I mix it myself. Thank you all! I did have a lot of help along the way. First of all, my amazing DH. He really stepped up to the plate. My 2 children came for the garage sale weekend, carried everything out to the driveway and then stood there(it was about 90 degrees that day) in the sun all day. We've been snowbirding to Orange County, CA since 2016. I cry when we leave and count the days till we return. When my DH finally said "it's time to sell in PA and move", I wasn't letting anything stand in the way(pun intended!). I'm really not amazing or any of the other nice things you all attributed to me. Ask anyone who knows me... I'm just really stubborn. When there is a will, there is a way.

The Great Shorts Hunt is over. DD found some she liked and that were recommended to her by another participant. They are from Amazon and at $33/pr if she wants to pitch them after the trip or during the trip, it won’t be a great loss. I think the brand is Little Donkey Andy (Amazon has such weird brand names!) Thank you all very much for taking the time to share with me your favorite quick dry shorts.

I missed something sometime... and didn't know, Ken was having problems. I am so sorry to read about that. He is such a "good guy", and I wish him the BEST care.

Both my parents spent their final days in Hospice Care. They are wonderful. Prayers for you and a peaceful passing for Ken.

My dad, in his eighties, had a bad stroke, eventually going to hospice. We expected him to pass away, but he improved, went home and continued to improve. That was almost two years ago and he is still doing okay.

I know Ken is in good hands, and it helps so much that you are by his side. I wish the very best for you both!

It's good that he's as comfortable as possible and you can stay with him. It must be a big comfort for you to have people around to help him if he needs it.

You're in my prayers and you pop in my mind often during the day. I hope you are feeling well now, too. Take care of yourself, hon.
