I've be watching this story by watching Nancy Grace. There is something very, very strange about Caylee's mother. The grandparents are in denial, altho I can understand them not wanting to believe the darling grand daughter might be dead. Strange story! Dottie

I really wish they could make Casey talk, frankly I don't care what it would take. She knows what happened and if it was accident she should have reported it. Now she's in even bigger trouble for not reporting it. Looking up chloroform on the internet, though..... I don't think there was anything accidental about this at all.

I get a totally different vibe from them. Look, Cindy raised Casey to be the little princess she turned out to be, and was well on her way to ruining her granddaughter--given how she's overruled Casey's mom's rights at apparently every step. Only a gut feeling, but I think Cindy is in this up to her eyeballs. I think she knows EXACTLY what happened to Caylee. I don't think Cindy killed her, but I believe she knew what happened shortly after the fact and has been orchestrating this whole fiasco in an effort to cover up the murder, and 'save' her daughter. I think she knew exactly where Casey was for that month, and they used that time to plan their cover-up, and to hope that time would help destroy the evidence--and maybe insure that wherever Caylee is resting now, would be more hidden (a landfill? some other place where stuff is added frequently? or where she'd be covered up like a construction site). Now dad may be clueless--I can't get a good read on him, but mom has been trying to control everything and everybody since the beginning. If her granddaughter was truly missing, she'd be out there like Natalee's mom was, pounding the pavement, knocking on doors, imploring the media to help (instead of attacking them at every turn). She knows something, and it's something she doesn't want to get out.

Whether the whole story will ever come out is extremely doubtful, but if it does, I'm pretty sure Cindy may be facing her own charges.

I can't believe that they found DNA & Chloroform and that still isn't enough evidence.

BTW! Didn't the Grandmother wash some clothing she found in Casey's car that belonged to Caylee? Why does the Grandmother always look down when she is on Camera. She rarely makes eye contact.

What did Casey do for money? She claimed to work for Universal and was actually fired one year ago. Didn't anyone notice that?

i agree w/ alot of what azzalea said. there is no way these grandparents will not be charged w/ something they just got a high profile criminal defense lawyer for themselves so apparently they are expecting it. i can not understand why after all the things that have come out about casey, including stealing $$ from a friend, her own mother and her grandmother who is in assisted living thru a checking acct routing # her parents and brother still stick by her. some can say because it's family but obviously if they had left casey out to hang she probably would not have done any of this knowing she'd be left out on her own. these days no one cares anymore what others' think of them or their family which i think allows people to do things that bring grief to families. one of the first things cindy said in defense of casey was that she was a great person and this and that including that she was a few credits away from her high school graduation LOL hello is that something positive LOL she's 22?!

i am sooo sick of hearing about these people, the coverage is endless in orlando, including updates between commercials. the police have alot of evidence mounting against all of them but are very tight about releasing details, obviously their goal is a death penalty conviction (good!) and they are not going to risk not getting one. i have a co-worker w/ family members in law enforcement & working on this case. a few weeks ago she told us about the evidence in the trunk and it took a few weeks to reach the public. can't wait for this to be over fast.. ~ liz

gayle, casey was dragged off to universal by police to their office buildings and while wallking down a hallway to where casey said she had worked she confessed she lied and had never worked there. police knew that but she claimed otherwise so they hauled her there.... she lived w/ her parents (ambitious huh?!) and had only held a couple of jobs during her 22 yrs. including telemarketer and employment at some publc relations firm which had done work for universal studios but was fired.

she has no college degree or work towards one and did not graduate from high school...she wasn't going to get a job here in orlando w/o both of those. according to stuff from her myspace page (removed by police) she did accomplish alot of partying thou. these things alone will tell you alot about the parents too ~ liz

I would have gone ballistic if my son kept giving me the runaround after just a few days as to why I can't talk to them on the phone or see them! No way would I have let it go on for a month! This whole thing is so crazy....I watch it everynight too on Nancy Grace. I hope they can get a closure on this and not forever go on wondering where she is. No doubt she is deceased, but I'd have to know where her little body is. This sickens me how her the mom can be so stupid as to think she could get away with this. My DH says they should torture the truth out of her...a slow torture until she fesses up. I tend to agree.

I read somewhere the police were looking closely at a dumpster by the boyfriends condo. Its awful to say, but I wouldn't mind seeing the grandparents arrested too.

Watching Cindy and Casey it is easy to see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Except in this case it must have some variety of NUT tree.

We may never know the whole truth, but I wouldn't be surprised if Casey eventually takes her own life.

The whole family is wacko! Mom and Dad stick their face in front of a camera at every opportunity then rant and rave that the media is ruining their lives and hampering their chances at finding their granddaughter. They all know she is dead.
Stick the mom in an interview room and leave her there, alone, 'til she's ready to talk.

I have an obsession with this story never have I ever heard of such crap going on and on for so long. It totally amazes me. It seems that when people such as the bounty hunter, bail bondsman and the search party guy first get involved they are all positive they are going to at least find a body and that the family will work with them~~~then you see these guys a few days later looking sick and wanting out of the state to get away from these wacko's!!!

The parents are and always have been enablers of this do nothing daughter of theirs. They want so badly to believe the stupid story of Casey's that I think it has made them crazy and they do look crazy!! If they do not believe their daughter that means their beautiful GD is dead to them and I think they can not accept that.

I can not understand why they keep talking to the media, fight with protesters it is so crazy! Casey the mom is a sociopath~~~and the parent's know it! She only cares for herself and has disconnected herself from all of them. Crazy Crazy!

There was a speculative report on Nancy Grace (days ago) One thought is that Casey buried Caylee and moved the playhouse over the grave. Later, dug her up and put her in the car and took her to another location.

That was the explanation of the Cadaver Dogs hit in the yard and in the car.

But, it is only speculation.

my friends' latest report is that there is a trail of gas and decomp from the backyard to the backdoor of the garage that both bloodhounds picked up on twice each. one theory is that caylee died in the backyard was buried there for a few days (g'parents out of town then). soon after dug up, drenched in gas, dragged thru the backdoor of the garage to the g'mom's car, taken to another site and burned. casey did steal gas cans from her parents home. there is some sort of gas/ethanol residue on the hair samples found in the truck. the tests came back positive for some sort of fluid present during body decomp and present only after death and it was this fluid the dogs found in the trunk and confirmed by Univ of TN body lab. police are positive she's dead. police have dumpsters from a check cashing place where casey wrote stolen checks then abandoned her mom's car, reporting it stolen. and a dumpster from where her boyfriend worked where casey had parked the car for a day. since casey's immunity deal has past the police are slowly releasing details hoping she will come out w/ some talk once she realizes what they have found so far.

meanwhile the g'father may be charged w/ battery for shoving 2 protestors, upstanding people these are! independent search crews have left, no one in the family ever asked for the search teams (sheriff's office did) and they did not ever participate in any searches, ever. obviously they were not going to waste their own time...~ liz

Like Liz, I think they knew that searching was useless as she's already dead. From what the g'parents are saying, I bet they're sorry they reported the child missing (which was before they found out from the daughter what really happened) and are just hoping the whole episode will just go away.

Heard on a talk show tonight that there is not enough evidence to put it before a Grand Jury. It's all circumstancial.
It's so sad that justice can't be had, in cases like this. (recall- OJ?) We can only hope whoever did this crime, will get justice, one way or the other.

I don't understand why the grandparents stay outside so much. If they were in the house they wouldn't have to be pushing and shoving the protesters away. What are they trying to prove by being out in the yard?

Yes, they have a right to be out in their own yard, but why do they want to, under the circumstances?
