I cook bacon in the microwave, put on paper towels in a zip lock bag and freeze. To heat up in microwave cook on high one minute per slice of bacon.

Before we travel with the motor home I fry up a bunch of bacon. I drain them on paper towels then transfer them to sheets of waxed paper that I put into a zip lock bag and freeze. I put 4 strips of bacon to a sheet since there are 2 of us. When I want to use it I just zap a few pieces on a paper plate for 30 seconds.

I use one egg with some cheese to make an omelet. Toast 2 English muffins then put half the omelet on each and top with 2 pieces of bacon broken in half. Spread whatever you want on the English muffin (ketchup, mayo, mustard) and walah you have an Egg McMuffin that tastes a lot better than the fast food places.

I also precook sausage and do the same thing with them. It sure makes breakfast easy and fast with no greasy cleanup.

I cook it up and put it in the freezer also. I put on a jelly roll pan and cook it in the oven then drain it on paper towels and wrap in wax paper and put in a baggie.

I never have done it but I think I'll try it. I buy the precooked at Sam's and tho it is okay, I really hate that it is sliced so thin. I do precook sausage, both the bulk and the links, and freeze them. I'm diabetic so I stay low carb to stay in control, paired with an egg I have a fast high protein meal.

They used to sell 2lb round cans of precooked bacon. When you opened the can the pe-cooked bacon was laid on a long sheet of wax paper then rolled up and inserted in the can.

I loved it because when you bought 2 lbs of bacon you got 2 lbs of bacon, not a 1/2 pound of bacon and a skillet full of grease.

I prefer pan fried in cast iron skillet.

I will go sit with Glenda in the old lady corner and join her for breakfast. Bacon is best cooked in a cast iron skillet. If you precook your bacon then what do you baste your eggs with?

Would I eat precooked frozen bacon? Sure. But I don't eat bacon everyday so when I do I like it done right.

French toast,pancakes and waffles do freeze well.

Old lady, also. Love bacon in the old cast iron skillet. First cook the bacon then in come the eggs.

This is a hint I think I'll try. But I think I'll cook the bacon in the oven, wrap in wax paper after draining well and freeze in Pkgs of 4. I tried turkey bacon a while ago and didn't like the taste or texture......just not bacon. IMO

I put it in the oven on a rack. Just zap it a bit to heat it. Has a lot more flavor than the pre-cooked bacon you buy.

I keep some of the precooked bacon on hand. It is really good! I also have the pre-cooked sausage - both patties and links.

The best brand I have found is Farmland - but everyone has their own taste. The farmland sausage patties are nice because the are larger - not the 50 cent piece size like some.

I bought one of those microwave egg McMuffin cookers. You can make a sausage or bacon egg mcmuffin in 1 minute! Just pop your english muffin in the toaster and cook your egg/sausage in the microwave for 1 minute and you have a really fast breakfast!

When I'm cooking a lot of bacon, I like it in the oven, on a rack over the baking sheet. No turning, and no greasy stove-top.

Which brings me to my awesome tip:
When frying bacon and it starts to spit, sprinkle a teeny bit of flour over top. It stops spattering. It does work, I do it.

Adellabeddella, are you cooking for kids in the morning? I'll keep my thinking cap on because I still have kids at home that seem to have less time to get ready in the morning. With morning sports practice and meetings, it would be really nice to have a filling breakfast they can assemble without all the mess.
I haven't premade bacon before but I do have friends that do. I don't like microwaved bacon my self but if it was precooked in a skillet I'm guessing it would be alright warmed up hot in the micro. Right now, one of my girls is hooked on whole wheat premade waffles and the other likes the cold water melon balls in the fridge. They don't want a big breakfast before class.

Twice recently I've bought pre-cooked bacon at the store. Used it in salads and things like that. I tasted a piece plain it just seemed a little "off". Will fry it fresh from now on. I have a black iron frypan.

I occasionally buy the pre-cooked at Sams or Costco, it is very thin sliced, I prefer a thicker sliced bacon but it will do when I have to have a BLT NOW LOL

One thing I now get regularly is the Jimmy Dean pre cooked sausage crumbles, they come in turkey also but I use the real stuff. It is so good added to an omelet. I put some of those crubmles and some grated cheese in our omelets and serve it with a piece of toast, very filling breakfast.

Thick sliced bacon laid out in a ring on paper towels, on a paper plate, under another paper towel. Microwave for 3 minutes medium high. Two plates are done before the eggs are ready, juice poured, coffee dripped. No mess. (Not 'green', but just about my sole use of paper plates, and I don't want eggs fried in grease.)

DH used to drink Carnation Instant Breakfast before catching the train to the city.

As a kid I liked "Egg 'n Orange": Beat together one raw egg and a cup of OJ until frothy. You can add a spoon of sugar.

Any 'blender' drink: Juice and a banana or other fruit.

Yogurt and fruit.

Yes, this is for the kids. My oldest has lunch after fifth hour so he really needs a hearty breakfast that will stay with him for a little while.

I made the bacon last night and froze it in papertowels. I zapped it this morning and it tasted good. I baked some of the cinnamon rolls in a can to go with it and gave him a glass of juice. My other two kids had sliced apples.

Ds also requested barbeque saandwiches so I cooked up a roast, shredded it, and froze it in portions. If we put it in the fridge the night before, it should be easy to add sauce and zap in the microwave.

I think I'll do up the French toast and pancakes this weekend. I asked ds about sausage, but he isn't such a fan of that. We are going to do an assemby line for the burritos, but I still need to buy freezer paper.

If you'd like to freeze bacon, I would recommend cooking a big quantity of it in a broiler pan in the oven. It cooks flatter and is easier to store in your freezer (It also works well flatter if you are using it on petite sandwiches for parties.) Bacon cooked on the stove top probably tastes slighty better but tends to break up easier when storing. The "flat" bacon does freeze and reheat well in the microwave.

Another breakfast food I've had good luck with freezing is pancakes. Next you make up a bunch, freeze your left overs individually (be sure they aren't all stuck to each other). The pancakes also reheat in the microwave really well.

I got something new at Costco recently, pre cooked oatmeal made with the good stone ground type and with berries in some and some plain, it looks like a frozen puck you just put it in a bowl and microwave it and you have really good quality real oatmeal. This is not the instant kind.

If I am making french toast for more than just myself, I make it in the oven.

You can also make breakfast tacos and freeze them. My DIL made them for my grandson while he was in high school.
