Christmas Card exchange opinon please.

I am planning on organizing this again this year. I was up last night unable to sleep, so I got to thinking. I want your opinons please.

DH has a new job (same place, just different location doing some infrared maintance work instead of where he is now) that we are unsure of when it will start. We thought it would be day after Labor day, but he was told today, possibly the beginning of Oct. We usually spend about 3 weeks on the road about then. That means we would possibly be on the road in November instead, if we even go.

I usually catch up with your emails asking to take part at a campground that has internet. I was thinking of starting it in the next couple of weeks, if you don't think it would be too early. That way most of those who want to take part would have already signed up. I would still get the list out Thanksgiving weekend as usual if at all possible. If we can't leave until the beginning of Nov., we may not go at all, and all this thinking will be for nothing! LOL!

Anyway, do you think it will be too early to start the sign up in Sept? Suggestions? As I said, I may end up not needing to change the way I do it after all, but wanted your thoughts.

If you choose to do it Tami,however you choose is good with me.

With my being on an extremely limited income,and wanting to participate,at least if I have an idea of who and where I am sending to early enough,I could definitely get my stamps purchased.

Stamps in Ontario now are 67cents/pc.

Either way anyhow,include me! :) and thank u!

Carol - you probably DID thank me in some other thread and I missed it. So please don't feel bad! I just was beginning to worry that you really WERE part of some dark conspiracy to withhold mail from you! I only got out 2 valentines this year -- my stepmother's fall and hospitalization and my trip up north happened right when I would have sent them out. But I had sent yours early because I knew what a debacle Christmas was! So you & my sister got valentines. That's it!

Rhonda, if it helps, we had about 35 sign up last year, including me. Most of those were in the USA.

Ok. If you all don't think it's too early, I'll start another post. I won't have internet until Monday, so I'll start replying to those who sign up then.

Postcards are good too and cheaper. Not sure if I can sign up this year or not.
