There's a well known restaurant/gas station on US31 in Indiana. The sign says "Eat Here and Get Gas"

The Grin Eye Clinic is right next to a dental office. We often comment that Dr. Grin went into the wrong business!

When I was in New Orleans years ago, I saw a billboard saying *You Can't Beat Wagner's Meat*

As if I wanted to.

Oh, me neither, YaYa. lol

I always laugh when we go by Yow Chiropratic in Ash Flat, AR.

Coral, my MIL bought her other son a shirt at Bubba's BBQ here in town. It said "You might be able to beat our prices, but you can't beat our ...." Well, you know! I don't think her son, the matchbook reverend, ever wore it. lololol

Whenever I get gas(oline) at Turkey Hill I see the Dead Ends Hair Salon.

And I once made a quick ten bucks by sending The New Yorker a restaurant ad that read, "Our Quality is Exceeded Only By Our Prices!"

These are a hoot! Down at the beach, Redondo I think, I go by a furniture/wood refinishing shop every Tuesday on my route that's called "The Strip Joint". I always get a giggle.

A business in South Bend, IN sells bottled gas and propane in tanks. They have a large sign in front close to he highway that says, "You just passed gas". A septic cleaning service advertises with their phone number, "Need septic tank cleaned? Call 1-800-POOP".

Years ago (maybe still?) in Southwest Virginia, a shoe shop had a sign that said:

"We will save your sole and dye for you."

A cesspool company has on its' trucks "We're Number One in The Number Two Business".

Here in Texas we have a "one-stop shopping" store. It advertises "Beer, Gas, Groceries, Bait". Does a land office business . . . .

A septic tank company in town has a sign on the side of the truck that says, "My wife doesn't stick her nose in my business."

As we passed the truck we saw thename of a window blinds company.

People have collected loads of funny signs and compiled them on various websites they host.

We have a 'Curl Up And Dye' hair salon in my city and I have seen that name on hair salons elsewhere.

Living around the outer banks (NC), billboards and t-shirts are popular with "I got my crabs from Dirty Dicks". Dirty Dicks is a seafood place.

There is a restaurant in Atlanta named "Abattoir Chophouse". I can pass that one up.

The ones our family jokes about all the time is not a business ad. We always chuckle when we see the signs in our neighborhood that say SLOW CHILDREN PLAYING.

We have a veterinarian in our town whose name is Dr. Barkley. Makes DH and I smile everytime we go past the sign.

There is a smallish sign in NW Chicago suburb advertising a chimney Sweep - name: Ash Wipes.

It's been there for a long while but everyone is still stunned when they first read it because of the print type - you really have to do a dbltake.

Lauren and I went to the Cowgirl's attic a couple weeks ago and drove by "Big Ass Fans" in Lexington. They have a huge donkey butt forward painted on their building.

There's a Dr. Barfoot in Dickinson. He's a podiatrist. Makes me laugh every time I think of it...in the south, a lot of old times say "barfoot" for bare foot.

I went to tooth extraction specialist once. It was a clinic run by two men. Their sign read, "Dr.s Peck and Huerty".

A sign for a hair saloon: Curl Up and Dye.

My sister died in an accident only weeks before launching her mule breeding business. A mule is 1/2 horse and 1/2 donkey (AKA "a$$") Her biz was called "The Half-A$$ Farm."

Mine isn't nearly so clever... but there was (is?) a huge old metal building in eastern Oklahoma that is filled with junk. The sign outside says:

We buy useless junk.
We sell priceless antiques.

We have several convenience stores here in town named Toot 'N Totum. Some of the locals have referred to these stores as Fart 'N Fetchum!

We used to have a Gyno in town named Dr. Hands..he delivered my DS. :)

I love your sense of humor. I like the one on my fm rd just off the highway from town. SLOW CURVE AHEAD. My kids just don't get it.

DH notices typo's. Within a block of one of the top high schools in the nation is an underpass. The state signage warns: Low Clarance.

There's a coffee brand in Hawaii: Bad Ass Coffee. (Guess they thought "Naughty" was too risque.)
