Prayer request for another little boy with MRSA

I got this from my niece in Tennessee...it's a prayer request from a friend of her's in her scrapbooking group. Thank God Austin's wasn't this bad. Big time prayers for this little boy! I am so terrified of this MRSA right now and hearing of so many cases of it!

Please pray for my husband, Darryl's nephew. His name is Kyle Joseph. He is in Children's Hospital with a bad case of MRSA from a mosquito bite. He is four!

They have drilled 4-5 holes in his leg and vacuumed 1 liter of infection out.

They then ran gauze through like stitching and pulled it through. They are trying to get it under control so as to not have to amputate.

Please pray for him and his family. Thank you!

just a quick little thought please, just for a few hours..Rick has gone to an out of town fully involved structure fire. I usually go too, so don't have time to worry. I don't feel comfortable going to this town, as I am not on their "books" as department Photographer. So, now I get to be a worried Firefighter's wife...hehehehe I am not used to this role....just please a quick prayer everyone makes it home safe and sound..the roads are getting icy, so that means ladders will be slippery and the scene will be that less safe.. I've been praying for Bradley, his family and his medical team ... his whole situation is so very sad. This poor little guy has just been through hell and he's never really gotten the chance to just be a little boy! His family seems to have a strong faith, this is so necessary to copy with the unfairness of life.

I thought that I posted this update last night. Roman is home. His iron level had risen by the time they got him to the hospital. It was up to 6. They sent him home with several vials of iron. He will go back to the hospital on Friday to see several specialists. Please keep him in your prayers.

I just said a little prayer for you, but what you need is to make a decision and stick to it. If your DGD can come up with the money, great. But if not, put the house on the market and hope for the best! It's really hard to find a seller after you've found another house to buy. Or at least it seems that way because we get so anxious. I wish you tons of good thoughts and hope you get you new home.

Ohmygosh. My heart breaks for what that little boy is going thru.Sending lots of prayers for him!
I still have plenty for Austin too. Is he still coming home tomorrow?

You got it! Prayers said before typing response- and more will certainly follow. I can only imagine what that poor little tyke and his family are going through.

I thought the medical profession gotten a 'handle' on this dreadful stuff with no idea until recently that it's still rampant- but posters here have sure shown me differently.

Said a prayer for Kyle. I heard that there are several staph infection cases in one of our local hospitals right now. This is getting scary.

I am so glad I didn't get this email from her before Austin got better. I would have had a nervous breakdown! This little guy has it alot worse than Autin.

Austin is coming home tomorrow. We thought he would come home today but his back was still tender in one spot and the doctor wanted to keep an eye on it for one more day. They had to re-do his IV last night and now it's in his arm with a board taped to it so it's stiff. He can't bend his little arm and he is mad about it! I can't wait for tomorrow when he is home!

You got it. I just can't imagine anyone, let alone a child, having to go through this. His poor parents, too.

So sorry for this little boy and his family. Hard to imagine, what they are going through. I also have a grand daughter that same age and can't imagine a little one going through such a thing. When things seem to be so bad in our life at times we need to stop and think about how fortunate we are when we think of what this family is going through.
My thoughts and prayers are with this family.
