I think I have mentioned before that my sister works at QVC. A few times a year they have friends and family day that we can shop there too.
Today was a good day!!
I bought
tiganello purse,
2 bras
sweater set
temptations oil/vinegar, S&P set
Diamonique studs
Ryka suede shoes
On-air retail price $343
Employee price....$71!!!!
Happy happy me!

You haven't gotten an answer to your question, but you could try it and if you didn't like it you could return it. You'd only be out the return shipping. Have you checked a tile store for a similar product? A good tile store would only sell the best products to seal.

I like thick crust... Sicilian Pizza? Reminds me of a fishing/party boat I went out on one day.. sort of rough seas that day. The guy that arranged the party/charter had kegs of beer and lots and lots of sort of plain Sicilian Pizza's. I was an avid boater, and another distant friend was there ..he was a boater. We always said hi on the boat radio's and compared notes.. what we were catching and where. Rough seas on that party boat, Gulf of Mexico offshore fishing...a whole lot of people paid a little bit of money each for this 'party'. It was very rough water, boat rolling not only side to side but climbing and crashing waves too while just trying to be stationary... My friend and I were the only two fishing, and the only two that were not leaning over the rails being sick :) Wow we had lots of pizza available.. everybody on that boat was sick but us two and the crew. It was kind of funny to us. People sort of crowding the restroom area, trying to wobble and stumble into the 'head' then you got to watch them fly out when the boat rolled the other way :) That was the best Sicilian Pizza I ever have had, just plain thick with sauce.

Back when I had cable, actually when I had cable that had QVC, I enjoyed watching it at times. I bought from them occasionally. Liked having it shipped to me rather than fight the crowds at holiday time and occasionally they had unusual things that I wanted. As far as the four-time felon goes, I just hope she doesn't have any non-fatal heart attacks. People often bash Walmart, but should look into the stunts the 4TF pulls with employees in her operation. QVC really got me to consider internet buying. As said though you have to consider the shipping and the tax too. For a while, there was no sales tax on QVC purchases so it could offset some of the shipping but not anymore. Actually, tax as I recall was higher than sales tax here so you need to look at the bottom line. Plus they used to reimburse you return shipping charges if you returned something but not anymore. That potential also needs to be factored in. I bought a toaster for a gift one time. It was one that you just put the bread in and it would lower it in automatically, then slowly raise it up when finished. Couldn't find one anywhere else. Went through two of them and gave up. The return shipping was nearly the cost of the stupid appliance.

There are SO many wonderful daylily farms out there - one reason I personally would not buy from QVC is that I would not be completely sure I was getting the named variety I was promised. Another reason is that all these wonderful farms depend on continued business to stay open, like rose people discourage buying from "big box" stores in favor of rose nurseries, to help them stay in business. I have ordered from quite a few rose and daylily nurseries this year [more than I should!]. If there is a particular daylily you want, google it - you will find a list of farms that carry it. Also, I really enjoy The Lily Auction online. LOTS of great daylilies and great prices! I have bought very expensive lilies for a fraction of their cost, and they sell seeds so you can raise your own. I have known Jack Carpenter for years { I cherish his huge diploids, no one else breeds those like he did]. Mark is a worthy heir - SUCH a nice friendly guy and will go overboard to earn your business. He is putting in a nursery that carries other kinds of plants, opening March 2. Well worth the trip! He digs huge fans, super healthy plants and gives daylily gifts with purchase. Other farms do this too....something QVC doesn't do. I have found so many great daylily farms just by googling a particular lily. Just ordered from Tom Kearst Gardens for some particular lilies I wanted......

My fave pink purse is a Tignanello, they make great products.
You really got some great deals.
I wouldn't miss those sales.
This is mine but it is in the most perfect shade of pink.

What are those numbers? The orig price and what you paid? Wow, how fun for you.

I've bought and unfortunately returned many items to QVC over the years. It's fun to watch on TV sometimes. I love the Jackie Kennedy jewelry show. Sure would love to go to the outlet, and I like Tig purses too. Nice quality, reasonably priced for a leather purse.

The employee store is not like the outlet. I really dont know why an item would go to the outlet store vs. the employee store.
Nothing was dirty or obviously worn. Most everything is opened or even no packaging at all.
The Temptation set I got was only in the styrofoam, the bowl sets were only shrink wrapped, no boxes.
The only other thing I noticed "off" was the Tig purse has a slight (and I mean slight) black mark on the bottom. I will do worse than that in 2 days!

Everything I bought was for me, except the Temp set. I amost bought - for a gift - a pair of sunglasses that have a video recorder built in, but I was a little skeptical buying electronics as all sales are final.

Curiously enough they have very tight security. To get in the store we had to be escorted/hosted by an employee, sign in and show your drivers license.
No cell phones are allowed in the store
No children are allowed.
They accepted only cash or check.
They were constantly restocking shelves while I was there.

The store is very small and cramped...surprisingly not many people there.

Fun though and I WILL go again!

That sounds like so much fun. I would LOVE to go to a company store.like that. Great prices and a fun satory. Congrats on the amazing haul!

My Tignanello purse is black leather. I bought it over 10 years ago for half price and only use it in the winter.

You only paid $21 for a Tignanello purse?? Adopt me, too! I bought one a few months ago on sale with an extra 20% off. It was still $95. You really got got good deals.
