I believe you need to highlight your table and then click on the "borders" tab on your toolbar. I'm not very computer literate, but I do use Word a lot so I hope this makes sense.

Kelko is right. Highlight your table and "right-click" and go to borders and shading.

Okay...I highlighted and then did the right click...borders and shading didn't come up as an option....where do I find borders and shading? I came here instead of computer help because I know some of you use Word a lot...I appreciate the help...

Thank you, thank you, thank you....I found it and, of course, that works...I now have grid lines....I'm a happy camper...it's always good to learn something about that program...

This is one of those things in Word and Excel that is not obvious and EVERY time I need to do it, I have to research it. Drives me crazy.

Gridlines are non-printing in Word. Set cell borders if you want them to print - or use Excel.

Yes, that worked...at first, I just couldn't find that option, but I found it under "view" "tool bars" in case someone else needs to know this...thank you very much. Now...I don't think I had this problem before. I think...when I set up a table, the "show grid lines" and "hide grid lines" is what worked....so one of the updates must have changed this. I love it that I can come here and ask a question. I'm not sure that I would have ever dug deep enough to find this solution....
